What to Watch Thursday: Rake Meets a Cannibal, Idol Semi-Finalists, Nerds Under Fire and More

rake325On TV this Thursday: Rake breaks bread with a cannibal, American Idol reveals its semi-finalists, The Brady Bunch talks The Talk and King of the Nerds is game for some dodgeball. With the Olympics in full swing, here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

2 pm The Talk (CBS) | The Brady Bunch cast — including Florence Henderson, Christopher Knight (Peter), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), Susan Olsen (Cindy) and Barry Williams (Greg) — reunite for Flo’s 80th birthday.

8 pm Winter Olympics (NBC) | U.S. hopeful Jeremy Abbott competes in men’s figure skating. Other events include men’s freestyle skiing and women’s 1000m speedskating.

8 pm American Idol (Fox) | The top semi-finalists are revealed as the Hollywood rounds come to a close.

8 pm The Taste (ABC) | In this week’s alcohol-inspired challenge, the final six contestants visit their favorite restaurants to help them find the perfect food that goes with beer.

11 pm Tattoo Titans (CMT) | Series premiere: A group of tattoo artists vying for a $10,000 prize go head-to-head in showing off their best ink. Tonight’s theme: women’s strength, beauty and grace.

    Rake has gotten better. As much as House was disagreeable, though, it’s hard to find anything at all redeeming about Greg Kinnear’s Rake. I am curious to see where it progresses, though.
