  • Actually, Lady Gaga’s third single isn’t gypsy! it’s G.U.Y.! Please fix! She’s currently shooting the music video at Hearst Castle for G.U.Y.

  • I am definitely thinking of adding him to my DVR list. We already know that Friday will be awesome… and I can’t wait to see Gaga do Gypsy (best song on the album IMO)

    • Gypsy is a great song, one of the album’s strongest (if not the strongest), G.U.Y. is pretty amazing too, the whole album is amazing, her best yet!!!

  • By returning The Tonight Show to New York, and being more than a stand-up comedian, Jimmy Fallon’s interation is looking more and more like a return to the way the show was during Johnny Carson’s first years as host. You could see this during the last week of Late Night, there’s a lot more energy than the show has had in a long, long time. I’m not criticizing Leno and O’Brien for that matter, but it’s just that the show has been lower key than it was during the Carson era.

  • seriously, the First Lady? what the hell does she have to offer to any TV program? Just because Hollywood wants to shove the First Family in peoples faces does NOT mean the other half the country wants to see them! Anytime there’s a mention of the President, 1st Lady, or any major politician on a show – its time to turn the TV or DVR off!

    • Michelle Obama represents the younger generation. She’s intelligent, cool, and down to earth than most of the other First Lady’s we have had. The tonight show will definitely gain a new audience with Fallon at the helm. An audience that has no trouble staying up after midnight and are able to be up for work in the morning. Good night Jay Leno!

      • the younger generation and Fallon’s audience are NOT the same as those of The Tonight Show and David Letterman. The President and 1st Lady are age of the those shows and NOT Jimmy Fallon. You are completely uninformed of the age ranges involved with this programming. The ONLY reason any these shows put politicians, including the President and 1st Lady on TV is to continue kissing their ass for Hollywood, their unions, and the donations! You may stay up late at night BUT your obviously out of touch with the generations.

      • Michelle Obama represents one of the most money grubbing media hawkers of all time. Trips costing us millions of dollars, vacations costing us millions of dollars, birthday parties with the Hollywood elite costing us millions of dollars. She has no respect for the taxpayer. She has some belief of being entitled to abusing us the taxpayer. How much is this costing us with her presidential plane, secret service and accompanying staff. Would we not watch if she was not there? Of course not. Cannot wait to get a first lady (or man) who respects us the American taxpayer.

    • Idiot!! Why should she not be on the show. Both Presidents Obama and Bush as well as Mrs. Obama were guests on the Jay Leno show. What’s the difference!!

  • It’s notable that Will Ferrell will be making his first appearance on The Tonight Show since Conan left. He had said he wouldn’t do the show while Jay was host after he became firmly ensconced on Team Coco. I think he’s making a statement by showing up in the first week of Jimmy’s reign.

  • Thank you William Wallace! I can’t understand why he insists on repeatedly having the POTUS and his significant other (she is NO lady, so I will never refer to her as a lady, let alone First Lady) on his show. He sure is an ass kisser. I had high hopes for the new Tonight Show, but now it looks like it’s going to be a showcase for left wingers.

    • could NOT agree with you more! The whole establishment of Hollywood, TV, and others, are so hell bent on ass-kissing this impostor of an American President and his undignified wife, that they don’t realize they are alienating half the country, and possibly viewers! The Tonight Show’s ‘great days of television’ are over! Johnny Carson and Jack Paar will be rolling over in their graves I think!
