Going up against the Olympics celebration, Fox’s Enlisted (1.8 mil/0.7) fell 30 percent in viewers yet only ticked down one tenth in the demo, while Raising Hope (1.7 mil/0.6) dipped 8 percent in audience but held steady in the demo.

  • Minor note: it was Vancouver 2010, not Toronto. Toronto I’d the I’ve which keeps losing the bids.

  • I’m really liking Enlisted, I didn’t think I would. I find the characters appealing and the ensemble works. Plus, it’s funny. I hope it gets a full season.

    • I love it too, best new comedy.

However it’s a mid season show, they don’t get full seasons, they only get renewed for another season.

And it’s not going to get renewed because if it were they would have moved it to Tuesdays instead of just 30 minutes.

However Fox lost Football and canceled The X Factor, so they need 3 more hours of TV. I’m hoping for Glee on at 8pm and Raising Hope finale season and Enlisted on after it in the fall.

  • I really like Enlisted too and last night’s episode was great!

Matt- I think the 2006 Olympics were in Torino, Italy and not Toronto.

  • Seriously, why does Fox hate Enlisted and Raising Hope? Why on earth would they air new episodes with no real lead in and against the Olympics. Makes me super sad because I really have been liking Enlisted. It’s too bad they won’t move it to Tuesdays and give it a real shot.

  • The Olympics were almost unwatchable with all the commercials. They seemed to be coming every 5 minutes. 5 minutes of program, 4 minutes or so of commercials.

  • I was lucky to have watched the Opening Ceremony live on CBC which had limited commercial breaks, but my sister in Seattle wasn’t so lucky. As she told me this morning it was more like Commercials with the Opening Ceremony stuck in between #nbcfail
