  • Whoops. Gotta make a change to that New Orleans Arena setting for the NBA game. It is now renamed to the Smoothie King Center.

Anyway! Might try the opening ceremonies tonight. Still not sure how I feel about tuning into the Olympics at all.

  • Why are they having opening ceremonies after the games already started? I don’t remember them doing that before.

    • It’s not something that happens all the time but they added some new events to the Games this year and they had to start things a day early in order to fit everything into the schedule. I’m thinking they’ll plan things a little better for the next one and hopefully have the OC before everything else. It was kind of odd to watch some of the events last night but it’s all right with me. Looking forward to the Opening Ceremony tonight! =)

    • They do tend to start competition a day before the opening ceremony, but I think this is the first time that high profile sports (figure skating and snowboarding) are starting early, hence the primetime coverage last night.

    • It’s Russia, so, getting things bass-ackwards is pretty much S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedure) over there. Check out the #SochiProblems Twitter feed, it’s pretty funny…

  • Just Banshee. No interest whatsoever in the Olympics. Last time I watched was when Torvil & Dean were robbed of the gold.
