  1. Amanda says:

Whoops. Gotta make a change to that New Orleans Arena setting for the NBA game. It is now renamed to the Smoothie King Center.

Anyway! Might try the opening ceremonies tonight. Still not sure how I feel about tuning into the Olympics at all.

  2. SK says:

    Hawaii 5-0
Will flip to the opening ceremonies during commercials

  3. Justin says:

    Just Helix for me tonight.

  4. tp says:

Why are they having opening ceremonies after the games already started? I don’t remember them doing that before.

    • HeatherC says:

It’s not something that happens all the time but they added some new events to the Games this year and they had to start things a day early in order to fit everything into the schedule. I’m thinking they’ll plan things a little better for the next one and hopefully have the OC before everything else. It was kind of odd to watch some of the events last night but it’s all right with me. Looking forward to the Opening Ceremony tonight! =)

    • kd83954 says:

They do tend to start competition a day before the opening ceremony, but I think this is the first time that high profile sports (figure skating and snowboarding) are starting early, hence the primetime coverage last night.

    • Drew S says:

It’s Russia, so, getting things bass-ackwards is pretty much S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedure) over there. Check out the #SochiProblems Twitter feed, it’s pretty funny…

  5. HeatherC says:

Opening Ceremony for me tonight along with Jimmy Fallon’s last show. I love the Olympics and I’m all ready cheering hard for Team USA! =)

  6. Ginger Snap says:

Don’t care for the Olympics and never have. Thank God I have a couple of series saved on my DVR that I haven’t had the chance to see. It’s time to catch up!

  7. Barb says:

Just Banshee. No interest whatsoever in the Olympics. Last time I watched was when Torvil & Dean were robbed of the gold.

Can we please not celebrate the New Orleans NBA team till they get a better name?

  12. Ryan says:

You know it’s a slow night when a NBA game is on the list…

  13. Lisa says:

It’s probably worth mentioning that Keith Carradine is Martha Plimpton’s (Virginia on Raising Hope) real life father.

  14. Lisa says:

spooky – just scrolled down to mention the Carradine/Plimpton relationship and another “Lisa” has posted that comment – I guess great Lisa’s think alike ;-)

  15. Bill Cord says:

Do not watch the Olympics and will not until the 1972 USA team is deemed the rightful winner of the USA-USSR basketball game.

  16. HAP says:

And now I know why Guy Fieri is always eating. Ferndale, CA is in the heart of the California pot growing region.
