What to Watch Wednesday: Al Ghul Visits Arrow, Super Fun Danny Tanner, an Idol Twist and More

Heir to the DemonOn TV this Wednesday: Idol contestants head for Hollywood or home, Bob Saget + a cookie prom = a Super Fun Night, Ryan Phillippe visits the Men at Work and Criminal Minds marks a milestone. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm American Idol (Fox) | It’s time to hit Tinseltown but — plot twist! — some contestants must perform one more time to test their commitment and talent in hopes that they won’t be sent packing.

8 pm Arrow (The CW) Sara’s fellow League of Assassins member, Nyssa al Ghul (Spartacus‘ Katrina Law), comes to bring her back into the fold. But when Sara refuses… well, bad things happen.

8:30 pm Baby Daddy (ABC Family) | When Riley’s firm is hired to represent the scandalous Reverend Stockdale, they must ensure that his seemingly boring (but actually wild) daughter (Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale) stays out of trouble.

9 pm Criminal Minds (CBS) | In the crime drama’s 200th episode, the BAU looks into JJ’s time at the State Department to find clues to her disappearance, also calling on Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) for help.

9 pm Modern Family (ABC) | Claire and Phil spy on Luke and Manny while they’re hanging out with their questionable friend and Gloria is furious when she thinks that Jay had a dream about another woman.

9:30 pm Super Fun Night (ABC) | Bob Saget guest-stars as a law firm big shot who suggests that Kimmie act more professional (talk about déjà vu – are we sure this isn’t an episode of Full House?). The girls in turn fear that the new Kimmie – ahem, Kimberly – may be too fancy for their annual Cookie Prom.

10 pm Nashville (ABC) | Rayna welcomes Lamar home from prison, Avery’s new gig with Deacon leaves Juliette frustrated and Scarlett gets fired up with creativity… and pills.

10 pm Chicago P.D. (NBC) | The Intelligence Unit discovers a drug smuggling operation that has put several girls’ lives on the line; Voight’s overprotectiveness of Lindsay backfires as she also helps to keep Justin out of trouble.

10 pm Men at Work (TBS) | When Milo dates a girl (Emmanuelle Chriqui, Entourage) who has a “same-sex ex,” his jealousy is tested. Meanwhile, Tyler tries to win Myron over with Neal’s help. Ryan Phillippe guest-stars as himself.

10:30 pm Wahlburgers (A&E) | Paul receives a call from Mark telling him that he bought the perfect site for the next burger joint…in Canada, eh? Paul heads to Toronto to check out this “perfect” spot with his brothers and realizes it is not exactly what he expected it to be.
