  1. Stormy says:

I don’t love the premise, but I love Tea Leoni so I’ll watch. I’ve long wanted her to be a love interest for Gibbs on NCIS, but this could work.

  2. fiberlicious says:

    Here’s a question for you:

Why “female” Secretary of State? Do you call John Kerry a male secretary of state? Of course not – so since the actor is a woman and you’re using “she” all over, why specify?

    • Cynthia says:

Because that’s the description of the role the gave before casting the role, they simply reported the entire phrase from the other post where specifying the gender was necessary. It may seem redundant now because we know Leoni is a woman, but there wasn’t any ill intention into it.

  3. GeoDiva says:

    Can you say “Political Animals”?

  4. gigi says:

Where the heck has she been? I thought she had a nervous breakdown or something.

  5. jasie says:

Not the best casting but could have done way worse. I like Tea Leoni just fine. Was just hoping for a Glenn Close or Felicity Huffman or Jessalyn Gilsig for this role.

  6. Steven says:

I loved Tea Leoni in The Naked Truth. It’d be great to have her back on TV on a regular basis.

  7. Jack says:

Gee, I was hoping that she was going to be the mystery divorced wife of Leroy Jethro Gibbs… but I digress…

  8. christine says:

Not a fan of this casting. I’ve never warmed to this casting. I wish it could have been someone with more gravitas like Annette Benning or Stockard Channing.

  9. MDS says:

This is an adaptation of Borgen, right?

  10. Babygate says:

Because of Tea I hope this pilot gets picked up. Love her and she’s been AWOL for a while.
