BBC America debuts the miniseries Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond tonight at 10/9c, and —  judging by the following exclusive and steamy clip – it appears the author (played by Captain America‘s Dominic Cooper) behind the infamous spy shared his creation’s talent for wooing ladies.

As Fleming challenges Ann O’Neill’s London socialite — “Tell me you don’t want me,”  he says while getting frisky with her dress — bombs drop from the sky until the walls come down around the pair. (Talk about some potent imagery.)

  • I inherited a bunch of Ian Fleming books in the 90s from my great grandma, all original copies. Enjoyed then and they’re a bit different from the movies. I also became a James Bond movie fanatic in the 90s when the movies were constantly playing on TBS. Additionally, I was addicted to the Goldeneye N64 game for a long time too. I hope I get to see this Ian Fleming biopic.

  • Hold on, is that Lara Pulver?! Desperately wish she had more screen time on Sherlock so I will definitely check this out to fill the void. Though that hallway scene was like something out of Mad Men… ¬__¬
