  • “…mind-blowing spoilers.”, which might just be in the URL to spoil anyone who didn’t want to know them. Besides the possible spoiler, seeing that there’s nothing official confirming anything this just sounds like a sensationalist title. Way to go.

    • To be fair, if the people waited all year for Hannibal to return, and knew spoilers were coming, they shouldn’t click the link in the first place

      • There’s a huge difference between spoilers officially sanctioned to be in a trailer and just straight up being told who’s going to die. I’m totally cool seeing clips of a fight scene. Not so much the URL of this post.

        • I dunno, could be a dream sequence? Nightmare sequence? Encephalitic fever hallucination sequence?

  • If they’re really killing off Jack Crawford, I’m shocked they’d be so open about it in the 2 promos they’ve released. Something tells me it’s either a fantasy sequence (we also see Will being executed in this promo, obviously that’s not going to happen) — or Jack will somehow survive the encounter, probably rescued by Alanna (who we see drawing her gun on Hannibal). Either way, I honestly can’t wait. I would have liked the promos to be less spoilery, even if it’s a fake out.

    • For all we know the fight could be a dream sequence. This wouldn’t be the first time the show has messed with you mind.

      • It’s not – Bryan’s confirmed it’s a flash-forward. And I don’t get why people are freaking out over that being such a huge ‘spoiler’, since it’s kind of inevitable Hannibal is going to be unmasked this season, and that would obviously lead to some kind of confrontation. We have no idea how things got there or how it’ll end, so the glimpses of the fight doesn’t actually tell us much…?

        • If Jack really is going to be dead, it’s rather a surprise since in the original canon he’s still alive for the entirety of Hannibal’s stay in jail, plus like seven years.

I definitely don’t mind seeing the fight sequence, but the URL…

  • Coming back on a Friday??? Are you kidding me? Why won’t NBC put this show front and center. This and the Blacklist are easily the best dramas they have going for them. They can’t live off the Voice forever.

    • Believe it or not, that’s the time slot Bryan Fuller and his crew wanted. Plus, if the ratings stay the same as last season, it’ll live on Friday’s for a long time.

    • Friday is actually probably the best place for Hannibal, assuming its fans want it to stick around for awhile. A show on Friday doesn’t need to get the ratings that shows during the rest of the week do in order to be deemed successful enough to keep around. Hannibal is really a niche show that isn’t going to attract a wider audience. I love it, but most people I’ve tried to introduce it to found the content too disturbing or the plot too slow paced. It’s a very cerebral show in that most of what’s going on in any given episode is only going on in the minds of the characters. Most people want to watch more plot driven stuff on TV.

  • It’s really crap to put that spoiler in the url title–and yes, it’s a spoiler because Jack isn’t killed off in Red Dragon.

  • This promo has been airing on channel 4 all week, so if you watch the station your going to get an eyeful and as someone already mentioned dream sequences are common. Well at any rate we will just have to wait and see what’s real.
