New Late Night With Seth Meyers Promo Hints at Seamless Transition (Save For One Glitch)

Departing Saturday Night Live vet Seth Meyers doesn’t have to worry about his commute changing all that much when he segues to Late Night With Seth Meyers next month. His new gig is housed at 30 Rock’s Studio 8G — a stone’s throw from SNL‘s longtime 8H digs.

That’s the good news. The bad news — as detailed in the following promo — concerns his new set. It’s not quite finished. Actually, it’s far from finished…

  • So excited for Late Night with Seth Meyers come February 24th as well as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (February 17th). Fallon & Meyers are ready to shake up late night TV for NBC.

  • Be nice to have someone to actually make the choice between Late Night and Late Late Show a hard one again. I’m not saying Fallon isn’t funny but he’s never appealed to me and despite improving still doesn’t. Not gonna miss Leno though.

  • Good promo. glad to see two SNL cast members made cameo in promo. I can’t wait to see Seth’s new show next month.
