What to Watch Thursday: The X Factor and Two Other Finales, an Anger-y Christmas and More
On TV this Thursday: America decides who has The X Factor, The Returned gets tense in its season finale, White Collar breaks for the holidays, Anger Management nicks a nativity scene and ABC News looks back on The Year. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.
8 pm The X Factor (Fox) | Two-hour season finale: The winner is announced… and The Voice champ Tessanne quickly makes some room in the spotlight. (Not yet renewed… but one judge is exiting.)
8 pm A Charlie Brown Christmas (ABC) | In case you missed it earlier this season, join Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang as they try to find the true meaning of Christmas.
8 pm The Sing-Off (NBC) | The song selection is in the hands of the judges as the final four groups vie for a spot in the finale.
9 pm The Returned (Sundance) | Season finale: Relations become strained between the living and the dead. (Season 2 films this spring; U.S. premiere timetable TBD.)
9 pm The Year (ABC) | Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts leads this reflection on the most newsworthy events of 2013.
9 pm Saturday Night Live Christmas Special (NBC) | Tonight’s other holiday special encore serves up “Schweddy Balls,” among other fan favorites.
9 pm White Collar (USA Network) | Fall finale: Neal is worried when Peter works an unsolved larceny case.
9 pm Project Runway All-Stars (Lifetime) | Designers team up with the world’s most influential fashion bloggers to identify a new trend for 2014.
9:30 pm Anger Management (FX) | Charlie’s Christmas plans with Sasha are derailed when Ed steals the baby Jesus from a Latino church. (Something tells me this is not the meaning of Christmas that Charlie Brown is looking for.)
10 pm Ground Floor (TBS) | Jenny convinces Harvard, Derrick and Tori to invest with Brody.
