Exclusive Once Upon a Time Video: Which Stone-Cold Villain Is Snow White Hunting?

This Sunday on Once Upon a Time (ABC, 8/7c), while an “undercover” Peter Pan plots to shake up Storybrooke, a flashback to Snow White and Prince Charming’s honeymoon evokes the name of a petrifying monster — and TVLine has a first look at the chilling name-check.

As seen in this exclusive clip, the newlywed Charmings’ getaway takes a not-entirely-romantic detour when Snow, in the wake of Regina crashing their wedding to warn of the curse that is coming, seeks out a creature that has the power to stop anyone in their tracks, with just one look.

Thus, the question becomes: Could this be the same top-secret character that Rebecca Mader is playing in the back half of Season 3…?

Such an awful wig…Why is it so difficult to get a decent wig nowadays? I mean, between this and The Blacklist.

    • JC says:

Yes, I don’t know what’s happened with Snow’s wigs. It seems like they’re getting progressively worse. They used to at least try to style it a bit, instead of just letting it all hang there like a mop on her head. There was a time when I thought Snow with the long hair in the flashbacks was more attractive than Mary Margaret with the short hair in the present, but not anymore, not with that terrible wig.

  3. Michael says:

Ok…Are we going to need someone that puts the Glad in Gladiator to fight her?

I am so glad I gave up on this show. It is getting ridiculous!

  4. “a creature that has the power to stop anyone in their tracks, with just one look.” Medusa. Bring in the Greek mythology!

  5. Zach says:

Yay another flashback that’s just squeezed into the timeline so they can advance the main storyline! Is anyone else getting sick of the useless flashbacks? I used to be the biggest fan of OUaT but it’s just becoming more and more lackluster.

  6. Alichat says:

How far along is Ginnifer Goodwin?? Snow has a bumpity bump!

  7. Louise says:

Let’s go hunt this creature people at court used to talk about years ago and that we nothing about and then we’ll kill it just so that we can maybe use it against our enemy. Somehow. In the hope that she may be tricked that way. Or not. Sounds like a great plan.

  8. Christina says:

Nope. Just nope. Please leave Snow and Charming in the past so we don’t have to be reminded how awful they are in present day.

  9. andy j says:

Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz would be PERFECT casting for Medusa. They wouldn’t even need to give her a wig. And the big question is just how long will they keep bundling Ginnifer Goodwin in big coats to coneal her baby bump. Its good Storybrooke is in Maine, not in Florida.

    • John 1138 says:

Directors are getting a lot of practice at that and getting quite good at it: in Hart of Dixie Lemon’s bump was cleverly disguised without any significant disruption to the scenes that I could tell. She had a bunch of scenes each ep and it went quite smoothly. Admittedly HoD isn’t an action show as OUAT is in part.

  10. Azerty says:

Enough with Snow/Regina enchanted forest flashback. We know how it goes, they won’t find this super weapon or it won’t work or…but really they are many stories they could tell by flashback, but stop with Snow vs Regina we got it 2 seasons ago.

    • shuayb says:

The fact that they are mentioning this character means the are about to bring in it into the storybrooke world. Judging on the description of the character and Rebecca Mader. I’m 77% sure its Medusa.

  11. Pat says:

I know that some of the commenters are focusing on her wig and they think it looks bad, but honestly, I wish she would continue to wear a wig until she grows her hair out which I think is way to short and is not very appealing on her.

  12. Wowseriously says:

You guys. Her long hair is a wig.. Her short hair is her hair. She looks fine. Stop being asshats and commenting on her looks.. She is a very good actoress and dosn’t need your stupid opinions. Pay attention to the show.

  13. Llinda says:

Ido wish you would stop all the bitching about the Snowing flashbacks, there are a lot of us who love them,& we don’t get many now, one in the whole of season 2 i lost count of the amount of Rumple & Regina ones, & i”am not bitching i just think the Snowing fan base was ignored last season, but your are because in 10 episodes we have had 2 this season

  14. Mikael says:

Henry is not a good enough actor to pull this “twist” off. He’s just awful, and having to act next to the excellent Peter Pan really shows how weak his acting is. They should do what they did to August and find a way to change the character so we can get a better actor.
