  • The ones from Once and Big Bang Theory were my favorites of the week! Love the SNL one too!

    • My favorite line of the week was at the end of Nashville, the very last thing said. I won’t post it here because it would be horribly spoilerish if someone hasn’t seen it yet. Needless to say, it took a few minutes for me to pick my chin up off the floor.

  • Nashville took the price this week, honorable mention to OUAT.

  • The Supernatural “Dog Dean Afternoon” had a ton of great quotes and you choose one from one of the most boring episodes in the series.. Which happens when the network insists on force fitting Castiel in a series he hasn’t fit in for many seasons now

    • Seconded. I loved ‘Dogs Dean Afternoon’, bit I had a hard time getting through th latest SPN episode, was so bored I gave up and fast forwarded through most of the Castiel scenes. I guess Cas is a fan favorite but for me I have a hard time understanding why he is even still around, what is the point anymore?

      • I third that!

    • These few Cas haters who just go from site to site spewing their hate need to get a life. This extreme faction represent just a few. Cas is a beloved member that most fans like.

  • Sorry, but what the heck is so special about that Big Bang Theory quote? I’m one of the biggest fans of the show, but Thursday’s episode was quite possibly the absolute WORST of the series. Which is too bad, considering the fantastic Bob Newhart/Bill Nye episode seemed to recapture the magic of the early seasons. This season has been very “up and down”… showing signs of the show it used be in one episode, but then reverting back to the lazy one-dimensional “relationship” storylines in the next. Ugh.

  • Castle:
Kate: there has been a murder
    Castle: Yeah, of LIoness’s feelings!

Great concept to give life to a painting and then naming it!

    • Only it was “Linus´s feelings”:)
My quote is also from Castle, but it’s Kate´s: “if you want to be invited to my territory, you better rethink that” !

      • I liked some lines they didn’t include from shows and I wonder if it was because it was more in the form of banter and wouldn’t make as much sense out of context. There were a few from Castle. Some from The Mindy Project. I say include a brief exchanges on this slideshow, not just one line.

      • Hahaha..Kate’s face when she said that was epic: In Your Face Ricky! Castle outsmarted once again…but comon Castle walked right into that when he started talking about his dislike for Kate’s desk elephants..everybody knows that’s not true, probably even the whole precinct. Castle is pretty good at outwitting criminals but not Kate…still he sure is the best at making Kate happy!

  • Love the quote from Sleepy Hollow, but there were so many better ones this week…The whole episode was filled with quotes that should have been in here though. I think the best was the quote about paying for water, “It should be an inalienable right” Haha.

  • There were so many good quotes this week on Sleepy Hollow. Tom Mison was just on fire throwing out the snark while still coming off completely amusing and likable. My favorite line from him this week wasn’t the one listed here but after he’s leaving the tour at the museum totally disgusted. “I’m the only one among you who doesn’t need medication!”

  • Tessa is great and one the best things on TVD right now. She’s crazy good, and she’s nuts too!

  • My favorite quote was the Nick’s in jeans moment from New Girl this past week.

  • There were some awesome lines this week on TV. The on from Elementary about moose cheese was pretty darned good too. The Arrow one about the length of Felicity’s skirts made me laugh, as did the Sleepy Hollow quote. All three of those shows are pretty quick with the wit.

  • Out of all the fantastic possible Sleepy Hollow quotes, that’s the one you pick? Other than his voice mail to Abby (too long to quote here), I personally liked when Ichabod says “I am flattered madame, but I am espoused to another.” after stumbling onto a porn website with a live webcam.

  • Sleepy Hollow is always good for laugh, also Glee was pretty funny, Dan Savage! LOL

  • The Jason Street line from New Girl had me cheering and laughing at the same time

  • Revolution was fantastic this week. Thou Nashville wins for most quotable.

  • I’d also nominate this gem from Mr Schue: “No one needs to know how you identify yourself — they just need to know that you washed your hands after.”
The episode was kind of hit-or-miss, but that line at least was a brilliant little bit of writing that managed to hit the funny/uplifting sweet spot where Glee works best.

  • The only thing missing from the Nashville quote is Juliette’s face while saying that…priceless.

  • Can’t believe they forgot Hershel’s line about making an executive decision about having Spaghetti Tuesday on Wednesdays.

  • Epic Fail for Glee’s submission. Sue pointing out Schu is a grown ass married man that is Twerking with high school students.

  • I was kinda disappointed in Dean for looking down his nose at Cas for having an honest job. Not super outraged, but he was kinda being a d-bag.

The Vampire Diaries has done horrible work with old characters. I get that the actors aren’t really the most talented people in the world, but all English, no accents and a ton of pop culture references? All with pretty much the same hair? Couldn’t they even try to sell the idea of ancient people?

Comment by Drew – November 17, 2013 03:26 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • The Crazy Ones quote that I liked was…

“You know what I like about you? You were gay before everyone was gay.”

“It’s like when your favorite band becomes cool.”

  • Hats off to nashville, arrow n vamp diaries this week. Sadly, my fave big bang theory fell splat.

  • So happy they put Nick’s Friday Night Lights line from New Girl on here. Hilarious.

  • I did laugh at the Jason Street line.
So…I take it from the picture that Maid Cafe only employs Asian maid waitresses?. I had something to say about that, but I’ve just realized I shouldn’t touch that with a 10-foot pole. I’m sure that place will be very popular.

  • Or the Crazy Ones where Robin Williams said to Bad Garret “Does he go up I’m you?” Not sure if that was it dactyl. But it was referring to how tall he was. That mad eme laugh so hard

    • Whoops. Had spelling errors. Brad not bad. “Does he go up on you?” And exactly

  • Supernatural
“So you went from fighting Heavenly battles to nuking taquitos.”
Dean (Jensen Ackles), summing up former angel Castiel’s (Misha Collins) new job as a convenience store clerk
