The Mob Doctor Season 1 SpoilersLifetime’s new drama pilot The Lottery has added Young and the Restless fave Michael Graziadei, CSI alumna Louise Lombard and SpartacusLesley-Ann Brandt.

From Children of Men scribe Timothy J. Sexton, the conspiracy thriller is set in a world where humans are facing extinction and women have stopped having children. When 100 embryos are suddenly fertilized, a national lottery is held to decide upon surrogates.

Per Deadline, Graziadei joins as a recovering alcoholic who is father to one of the last children born in the country, with Lombard playing an artist-turned-Washington power player. Brandt, meanwhile, will portray a soldier desperate to have kids.

Saved by the Bell is making its way to E!, with the cabler slotting the ’90s cult hit every weekday from 7-9am. The Bayside hijinks begin Monday, Nov. 11, with a five-hour marathon.

Megyn Price (Rules of Engagement) and Bryan Batt (Mad Men) have joined Lifetime’s drama pilot Unreal, per The Hollywood Reporter. From Buffy‘s Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro, the prospective series centers on the outrageous duties of a staffer (Shiri Appleby) on a hit dating show. Nathalie Kelley (Body of Proof) and Johanna Braddy (Easy A) also have boarded the project.

    Wow what an interesting concept for a show…Surprised it’s going to be on Lifetime, and a bit disappointed since they tend to be so soapy since the show sounds like it could really be something special.

      I agree. I thought it was going the route of ABC’s recently departed LUCKY 7, but this sounds like it has some meat to it. Not sure Lifetime will do it justice. Seems like it should be on FOX or The CW.

      Hmm… What’s interesting is that Children of Men is a conspiracy thriller set in a world where humans are facing extinction and women have stopped having children, when suddenly a woman ends up getting pregnant. I wonder how final a draft of the script that Sexton worked on.
