  • Glee met anarchy 2 seasons ago. Literally.

  • Seriously… When did Halloween become “sexy”? And I mean it in the “sexy costume” way. Yeah, sure, if the costume’s origin is supposed to be sexy (let’s say, Jessica Rabbit, subway vent Marilyn, Craig-out-of-the-sea Bond, etc). But all the “sexy Carmen Sandiego”, “sexy Jesse Pinkman” or “sexy artoo” crap should just disappear. Especially, considering Halloween is supposed to be “scary”, or whatever, but I’ll give them the “not scary, but true-ish to the original” thing.

Sexy, sure, bring it on. But not “sexy [something that isn't supposed to be sexy-ized]“.

    [/end rant]

    • Thank you. Plus, didn’t Carmen Sandiego already have a mysterious allure in her red trench? (and I am a female only slightly older than the original game- still own it for our Apple IIe, in fact!)

      • Totally! Carmen was totally hot all covered up and mysterious. That costume is a fail.

      • Tina Fey was just pointing out what was already happening, she didnt initiate the trend.

    • Completely agree! Why can’t Halloween just be fun and not yet another opportunity for starlets to show off their “assets”, by which I, of course, do not mean talent. There was a great line from Sex & the City (the show), I’m paraphrasing: Miranda, “The only costumes for women are with or a sexy cat.” Carrie, “You just said a mouthful, sister!”
