As seen in this week’s episode, “U.S. Government” rep Edward Truman (played by Steven Culp), upon being presented with the two Patriots whose bodies were spontaneously combusted by the “fireflies,” ordered the remains to be sent away to a “Dr. Horn.”

The clip below features deleted dialogue from that scene, then a preview from the next episode, in which Ivanek debuts as the aforementioned enigmatic doctor. His location — and his reaction to the incredible incineration — is subsequently revealed.

In addition to his memorable run as Damages‘ Ray Fiske, Ivanek’s recent TV credits include Banshee, The Event and True Blood.
