I’m not even going to bother with OUAT Wonderland. Sophie Lowe ruins it for me.

    • Liz says:

Is that he woman playing the red queen? Cause she was the only thing that bothered me with the first episode. Well her and the ridiculous amount of CGI – would it kill them to build a set? Lol

      • Jules says:

        Nope, Sophie Lowe plays Alice.
And I agree, actor-wise, only the Red Queen actress bothered me, and looks-wise of course the really bad and over-used CGI.

      • Templar says:

No. She’s the one playing Alice and it’s probably just me. Her sour expression is as off putting as the one who plays Charlie the lead female on Revolution. I found the Red Queen a bit over the top, but it wouldn’t have kept me away.

      • Mikael says:

The Red Queen comes off as a Real Housewife of Wonderland. I know people will unfairly compare her to the amazing Lana Parilla, but even without comparing them, she’s just not good. They could have found a better actress. Other than that, I really liked Once: Wonderland.

    • tp says:

I’m not really hearing good things about Wonderland. I still haven’t watched the first episode. Think I’ll go ahead and delete it. :/

    • John 1138 says:

Not ruins, yet, for me but I agree the lead character is the deal breaker or maker for me and she’s yet to be compelling in that part though I ‘ll give slack to a pilot when actors have yet to grow into a part.. Ones like Pi on Castle or the Red Queen side characters can be ignored at will or watched when it’s amusing enough.

      • prish says:

IMHO, they should have had a blond Alice. What was Disney thinking? They are the ones that gave us the blond icon. There is no way to separate Alice in Wonderland from blond, flowing hair. It’s in our DNA. If Sophie Lowe had bright blond hair, we could have gotten into the story, so much easier. I’m sorry for the actress because she is fighting audience expectation. Then, the Red Queen has blond flowing hair. Someone at Disney dropped the ball.
