Did anyone else just get very nostalgic for Beast Wars?

8:30 pm The Neighbors (ABC) | Jackie and Debbie tell each other intimate secrets — though Jackie does not reveal that she’s been secretly working at a Mexican restaurant. We hear her guac’ is out of this world!

8:30 pm The Legend of Korra (Nick) | When the President of the United Republic refuses to help Korra, she decides to take matters into her own hands.

9 pm Hawaii Five-0 (CBS) | The team helps a Texas Ranger (guest star Tim Daly, Private Practice) find his missing daughter.

9 pm Beneath (Chiller) | A group of recent high school graduates stranded on an oarless, leaking boat in the middle of a remote lake are attacked by a bloodthirsty underwater predator. Mark Margolis (Breaking Bad) stars in this original film — let’s hope he brought his bell!

10 pm Blue Bloods (CBS) | A famous movie star (guest star Marc Blucas, Necessary Roughness) gets a little too method while following Danny for a role — and by “too method” we mean “stabbed.” Ali Wentworth (Head Case) also guest-stars.

10 pm Cracked (Reelz) | One half of a feuding rock duo is dead, and the other half is bipolar, stark naked and raving atop a billboard. Sounds like a case for Psych Crimes!

10 pm Haven (Syfy) | Duke tries to find Audrey by focusing Jennifer’s trouble, while Nathan and Dwight investigate child disappearances linked to an ancient legend.

10 pm Strike Back (Cinemax) | While Ulyanov’s vendetta brings him closer to Stonebridge, the operative’s condition grows more dire as he encounters Al-Zuhari’s plan.

10 pm NBC News: Elizabeth’s Story – A Meredith Vieira Special (NBC) | Elizabeth Smart, held captive for nine months at age 14, tells the story of her horrific kidnapping and subsequent inspirational advocacy.

  • A smattering of content that walks the line from the serious to the absurdly-entertaining.

    My list for this Friday:

    -The Neighbors (This show is fantastic, despite what you may think.)

    -The Legend of Korra (Book 2 finally seems to have hit a tipping point)

    -Hawaii Five-0 (This show is a Guilty Pleasure, but I’m more interested in Danny’s GF (Autumn Reeser) than what Mrs. McGarrett’s relationship is with Wo-Fat. Come on Five-0, make me care about Steve’s story lines again.
