Apparently, as Bates Motel moves into the future, the A&E thriller will also delve into the past. So Freddie “Norman” Highmore tells TVLine’s Michael Ausiello in this video from Sunday’s Emmy red carpet.

Season 2, the actor promises, will be as “creepy as ever.” But, through flashbacks and new characters, like Norma’s no-good brother, Caleb (The Shield‘s Kenny Johnson), we’ll get “more revelations” about the mother/son duo’s history.

    • So did I, so I decided to start it last week, and yes, it really is good. Creepy and all that stuff, and both Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore do terrific jobs of playing their characters’ many different sides. You should definitely watch it.
