  • TV Line, I find your use of the G slur in regards to Esmeralda offensive and disgusting. I request that you change that to Romani, which is the proper term for that group of people. The G word in regards to Romani is like the N word to African Americans. It is respectful to these people to not use slurs against them. You are my favorite source for TV news and I check you multiple times a day, and I hope you will learn from this and do the right thing.

    • That’s probably what the press release said… Write to ABC and complain :)

      • I can still say something here and ask them to do the right thing by those people on here. The meaning of the sentence isn’t changed by correcting a slur to the proper term. That or they could use asterisks instead of the word itself. Either way, they need to fix this as soon as possible.

    • I would argue that 1. Gypsy was the term used back in Hunchback time era, 2. they’re using the capital-G form, usually considered more acceptable, and 3. the only truly “offensive” variation is to say someone got gypped. Otherwise its just a antiquated name for an ethnic group from the word Egyptian.

      • By that logic we could argue that using the N word in a press release regarding a slave in a movie is acceptable. It’s an antiquated name for that after all. So really, by your logic, that’s how it should be handled, is it not?

        • Id rather have the show be periodically correct than politically correct. Gypsy was the term then and it is the term now. Also try to imagine Django Unchained without the N word, it wouldn’t make any sense. People need to grow up they’re just words they can’t bite.

    • Ugh – I find people like you tiring and offensive. You live to be offended. It’s the only thing you have in life. Sad and pathetic. Please go away because you’re offensive to me.

      • Amen. Someone is always looking to be offended by the dumbest stuff. A gypsy is a gypsy and the only reason that word has any negative meaning is because they are known for being liars, thieves, and con artists. Was this guy offened by The Riches? It was about thieving and conning gypsys. I really don’t feel anyone needs to be respectful of people like that in the first place. They don’t deserve it.

  • What character did Thomas Arana played on 24 and which season was it?

    • ^ I just looked up on the IMDB website and the actor was in the fourth season of 24 and I think he played one of the bad guys on the real time thriller.

  • Weird that Falling Skies is already filming being it will be 10 more months until it starts up again. Nice to see they got a few more episodes.

    • The next season (of the show) takes place immediately following the last one, and the season (of the Earth) wouldn’t match up if they waited months to start shooting.

    • I’m a little worried that 12 episodes means last season of the show. They have enough filler as it is, no need for 2 more eps of it unless they are wrapping things up.
