Of course, The Amazing Race and Top Chef are both nominated again this year — for the eleventh and seventh consecutive years respectively — as are perennial bridesmaids Project Runway (a nine-time nominee), Dancing With the Stars (up for the eighth time) and So You Think You Can Dance (celebrating its third nod). The relative newcomer to the battle is The Voice, which is in contention for the second year running.

  1. TOP CHEF gets my vote. Amazing Race’s almost winning streak should end.

  2. WayneInNYC says:

Face Off should win. Oh, Wait. It wasn’t nominated.

  3. SYTYCD, by a mile. The camera work, the flawless host and the fact that it brings dance to millions of people who wouldn’t otherwise see it.

    • GTS says:

The camera work wasnt as great this year. I caught a bunch of glimpses of other cameras, and not the best shots during the group dances,

  4. So You Think You Can Dance. Because every year the talent level get raised. More and more professional amazing dancers come on and the new styles are fantastic. I would have voted for Project Runway but the way Lifetime cheaps out on the time allotted to the designers has lowered the quality of the show. If they’d just give them a little more time maybe we could get back to outrageous awesome fashion.

    • GregK says:

My wife and I usually like both SYTYCD and Runway but this year disagreed with the choice of “Americer’s” favorite dancers for the most recent competition. The brilliant snark by the judges on Runway and the super suave Tim “Make it work” Gunn always make this show a hoot to watch.

  5. LoriL says:

What about Survivor? The one that basically started it all?

  6. benny says:

  7. Mike R. says:

I’m with benny, Masterchef is my favorite, but alas it wasn’t nominated.

  8. cjeffery7 says:

i am loyal to Top Chef in the same way im loyal to The Office – blindly.

  9. april-ann says:

I voted for Dancing With The Stars because it’s the only one of those I watch! And not surprised to see it scored the lowest – but hey it’s a fun, fun show!

  10. qj201 says:

RuPaul’s Drag Race…and RuPaul for host, hrrmph

  11. Aprilcot says:

So You Think You Can Dance. The fact that Cat Deely lost in the host category is still baffling to me!
