Revenge DVD Exclusive: Amanda Lives, Charlotte Goes to Church (?!) in Lost Season 2 Scene

Get More: DVD, Exclusive, First Look, Video

revengeAmanda may be dead and buried on Revenge, but Emily’s partner in crime is alive and not-so-well in the following deleted scene from the ABC drama’s forthcoming Season 2 DVD release (out Aug. 20).

The following clip, which was left on the cutting room floor of Episode 5, finds Victoria and Conrad regrouping in the wake of Amanda’s near-fatal “swan dive” at Grayson manor (not to be confused with her literally-fatal death later in the season).

Also in the sequence: Charlotte shows up on her way to “church” to express her shock and awe at her parents’ decision to renew their wedding vows, the now verboten “Initiative” gets name-checked (ah, those were the days), and Victoria manages to call Amanda disturbed, dumb and decrepit all in the span of 60 seconds.

  • Please let there be. A blooper reel!! Can’t wait to do a season rewatch in anticipation for season 3! I’m still thinking about that finale from May.

  • Best season 2 moment:
Helen: (re: the empty safe) “It’s empty.”
Victoria: (holding a gun) “This isn’t.”

  • Shouldn’t have killed Amanda, but at the same time, REVENGE only got its mojo back after they killed her off… so there’s that. They’re keeping Aiden, though. Ugh. He’s this season’s Tyler / Klaus (Vampire Diaries) / Nikki and Paulo (Lost). I wish they drop him. His accent is a real practical barrier to the enjoyment of the show (see also: Nolan’s voice).

    • Agree on all counts. Tho, I don’t think is Aiden’s accent so much as the fact that he nearly whispers every dang line. That’s what makes it hard for me.

    • Did you seriously just compare Paulo and Nikki to Tyler Lockwood? Ummm no. Tyler’s been there since the Pilot AND was an original book character. Please just stop.

  • Btw, I only get the Charlotte scene… Where’s the Amanda scene?

    • There isn’t an Amanda scene. They just talk about her surviving the fall. The title is kind of misleading, especially since it has nothing to do with her actual death later in the season.
