Ratings: Big Brother Dips But Tops Thursday

Ratings Big BrotherOn a Thursday night when every single network show took a dip opposite scattered smatterings of pre-season football, Big Brother‘s double-eviction sustained the smallest hit.

Drawing 6.6 million total viewers and a 2.4 rating per Nielsen finals, BB ticked down a tenth while slipping just 7 percent in audience, topping the night on both counts (juuuuust edging out a Big Bang rerun in viewers).

Save for ABC’s Wipeout (3.5 mil/0/.9) — which plunged some 25 percent — every other piece of new Thursday network programming was down about 11 percent in total audience and dipped a tenth in the demo, as follows:
Hollywood Game Night, NBC: 3.6 mil/1.1
Rookie Blue, ABC: 4.5 mil/0.9
Winner Is (finale), NBC: 3.8 mil/0.9
Motive, ABC 4 mil/0/7

And that’s all I’ve got.
