Why do we keep trying to remake British tv shows. With the exception of The Office, does it ever work? We have BBC America for a reason. Unless David Tennant is going to do the FOX version, I won’t be tuning in. Originality FOX, please. Wait you don’t like original programming.

    • Tai says:

I actually like the US Being Human. Then again in pretty sure most of the people from the UK version are involved so that might be why. But at least that was another US remake that wasn’t so bad.

      • Warren says:

        I like Shameless also.

      • maggie says:

No the people involved with the UK version are not involved with the making of the US version of Being Human. They simply sold the premise, and therefore get billing (and money) for the US version. But they are not involved with the actual producation of the show.

    • Bob says:

“Fox Originality” is the biggest oxymoron ever created. They’ve always copied. They’ll continue to copy. No, it won’t star any of the current cast because they’re not American. Wouldn’t work.

    • Robin Cohen says:

Excellent comment. We never get it right so why do we bother?

  5. Joey says:

Melissa and Joey, Baby Daddy, Franklin and Bash, Royal Pains, and The Exes.

  6. Jared says:

    Melissa & Joey
    Baby Daddy

  7. dude says:

Of course it couldn’t be Stephen Amell. They called him GREEN Arrow.

  8. AlisonC says:

I recommend that everyone watches Broadchurch. As someone who would watch David Tennant in anything (and he is gret in this too) I have to say that the best thing in this is Olivia Colman.

    • Topaz says:

She’s really stupendous. People should also watch her in the sitcom Rev. She and Tom Hollander are both amazing (as are all the actors involved).

    • maggie says:

Broadchurch is amazing. Colman is brilliant, as is Tennant. The whole cast is solid, including Arthur Darvill (Rory from Doctor Who) as the Vicar.

  9. Pamela says:

Broadchurch is mesmerizing drama – the more episodes you watch the deeper you become invested in the story, though I have to say it grabs you from episode one. It’s one of those stories where you don’t want to wait a week for the next episode. For some reason, Showcase in Canada is showing two new episodes per week. Thank you Showcase. Olivia Colman, what a find she is. I can see already why Meryl Streep called her “divinely gifted”. I never did watch the Dr. Who series, but David Tennant does a great job in this character as well. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes. Will also watch Necessary Roughness and Royal Pains.

    Baby Daddy!!

  11. Steve F. says:

MasterChef for me – it’s the redemption challenge, where 3 former contestants are brought back for the chance to return to the kitchen.

    • The Beach says:

It doesn’t seem quite fair bringing three previous contestants but not including the last one booted since he went further than the other ones.

  12. Bob says:

Caught the first episode of Broadchurch on VOD over the weekend. Great British drama. Of course, Fox will kill it with their version.

  13. will sullivan says:

Everything here looks dreadful except Broadchurch…and I can’t get BBC America. I might have to fix that…

  14. Jill says:

Loving Camp! Perfect summer show. Hope they bring it back next summer.

  15. bobbie says:

The Bridge, Franklin and Bash, Royal Pains, Necessary Roughness

  16. G says:

Baby Daddy, Big Brother, AGT result show.

  17. JCK says:

Elvis Aloha From Hawaii PBS, Broadchurch.

  18. Ram510 says:

Just reading that quick summary of Baby Daddy and I was already rolling my eyes at Ben. He’s the worst character and has gotten more annoying this season. However Tucker has gotten better and the rest of the cast is great. Can’t wait for Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy!

  19. Ali says:

Law & Order:UK and Broadchurch. It’s a BBC America night for me.
