Get More: Finales, News, Ratings

Hollywood Game Night - Season 1On a highly uneventful Thursday in which four of seven pieces of original network programming showed no movement, NBC’s Hollywood Game Night inched up a tenth in the demo, scoring a 1.3 while delivering 3.9 million total viewers.

The night’s only other gainer was Hell’s Kitchen (5.4 mil/2.2), which was up 11 percent and a tenth week-to-week yet down some 12 percent from its previous finale (which aired in September vs. the summer).

ABC’s Wipeout (3.8 mil/1.0) dipped 10 percent, Big Brother (6.8 mil/2.4) drew the night’s best demo and a Big Bang Theory rerun commanded the largest audience (8 mil).

  • I tried to watch HGN but couldn’t get past the first episode. It just seemed so akward. Like all of the actors were not happy to be there and were going to go yell at their agents as soon as the cameras were turned off. Has it gotten better or is there just nothing else on worth watching that night?

    • It has definitely gotten better! Last night with Poehler/Armisen/Rudolph/Sudeikis was super hilarious. Jane Lynch is also way more natural now.

      • ” Last night with Poehler/Armisen/Rudolph/Sudeikis was super hilarious”
Armisen was to awkward to be hillarious, in last seconds he was trying to run away.
But Sudeikis was really “on fire”

    • Last night’s ep was hilarious! Amy and Jason were both drunk (or at least both were very adept at acting that way) and Jane kept making fun of them. Neither of the *normal folk* seemed too into the games but the rest of the cast seemed to get along well.

    • It has gotten better. I laugh out loud every episode. I like Jane Lynch but not as the host. She is a little over the top for me but I just ignore that part. I think someone like Jimmy Fallon would be much better as host. Or Judy Gold. Maybe if Jane reins it in a bit. :)

  • Any word on Motive? I really like that show and hope it does well enough to come back next summer.

    • If not mentioned, it’s among the shows that were flat as a pancake.

    • It’s at least coming back for another season in Canada. It’s been renewed but it looks like it’s not going to return in the States!
