What to Watch Sunday: True Blood Camps Out, HGTV Picks Its Star, Axe Cop on Duty and More

9 am – 5 am (Monday) Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon (Syfy) | Hit all the high (and low) points in Buffy Summers’ slaying career in this run of the series’ milestone episodes, starting with the pilot (“It’s a whole big sucking thing”) and ending with the series finale (“No you don’t, but thanks for saying it”).

8 pm HGTV Star (HGTV) | Season finale: It’s down to Brooks, Tiffany or Jeribai – who says tonight, with no sense of irony, “Wow, that is freakin’ turquoise” — as they each design a hotel suite. (Not yet renewed.)

9 pm Endeavour (PBS) | In the wake of a murder at a munitions factory, Morse delves into the owners’ murky past – and his own – to find the culprit before more people die.

9 pm The Killing (AMC) | When the hunt for the pornographer leads to a horrifying revelation, Holder looks for someone to blame.

9 pm Dexter (Showtime) | Quinn passes the sergeant’s exam; Dr. Vogel begins treating Debra; Bethany Joy Lenz (One Tree Hill) guest-stars as a possible romantic interest for Dex.

9 pm Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime) | Jane tries to impress Owen — and the owners of a major baseball team — by representing their star player when he’s accused of murder.

Axe Cop9:30 pm Axe Cop and High School USA! (Fox) | Fox gives audiences a sneak peek at its new, 15-minute animated comedies before their July 27 premieres. Axe Cop, based on a comic book conceived by a 5-year-old, follows an axe-wielding police officer and his partner Flute Cop and features the voices of Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Ken Marino (Childrens Hospital) and Giancarlo Esposito (Revolution). High School USA! follows students (voiced by TRON: Uprising‘s Mandy Moore and Mad Men‘s Vincent Kartheiser) confronting the challenges of growing up in the modern world.

10 pm The Newsroom (HBO) | Don urges Will to advocate for a convicted cop killer on Death Row and Neal gets arrested on Wall Street.

10 pm Brother Vs. Brother (HGTV) | Series premiere: Property Brothers‘ Drew and Jonathan Scott compete to see whose team does a better job of transforming run-down homes. Lose a challenge, lose a team member. The last contestant standing goes home with $50,000.
