Ratings Big Brother Season HighWhat’s the saying — “The only thing worse than being talked about is….”?

CBS’ buzzy-for-the-wrong-reasons Big Brother on Thursday night hit season highs in both total viewers (with 6.7 million) and in the coveted 18-49 demo (scoring a 2.3) — rising 8 percent and two tenths from last week’s live eviction show.

Opening CBS’ night, a Big Bang repeat coped the night’s largest audience (with 7.1 million).

  • I think Rookie Blue was just a matter of people not knowing if it was on or not during all the interruptions of its airings. Last week I totally forgot it was on! It didn’t give us a chance to get into the habit of it before it was off for 3 weeks in a row. This week…..not a problem. :)

    • I think by having America vote for the MVP every week is helping BB’s ratings. As a viewer, you feel more involved with the show and the outcome. This was a brilliant idea of BB. I don’t know why they didn’t do it before. They should do it again next year.

  • Such a horrible season. Who wants another season of Rachel…ugh! The MVP is the dumbest thing they could ever do. I am so over Helens fake a** crying and Elissas omg america…I can’t believe its. Just give her the money & get it over with. I am officially big bothered out. Thanks CBS for wrecking it.

    • They set it up so they knew Rachel’s sister would be MVP every week and win in the end. This way they can have a competition between Rachel and her sister next year. All fixed. I never liked Rachel and ditto to her sister.
