This news comes on almost exactly the four-year anniversary of the very first Lambert/Glee rumor, which swirled shortly after he placed second during American Idol‘s eighth season.

In addition to Idol and numerous television appearances, Lambert’s resume includes several theatrical gigs (including the musicals Wicked and The Ten Commandments: The Musical) and a performance in Pretty Little Liars‘ 2012 Halloween episode.

  • Is he going to play a character or himself? I hope he can be a mentor to Kurt, making him see that he will only be limited in acting choices if he let them… not to mention opening his eyes about how much of an attention whore, selfish douche Blaine actually is.

  • I love Adam Lambert, so talented. Just a great gesture from Glee to have him on. I don’t watch Glee at all. But this will be a great thing for Adam and the spotlight. Way to go Adam. He might bring the spark back to Glee.

  • Funny is that when Glee was still in projected Adam auditioned for it and didn’t get the selected. Now that he’s famous they want him…

  • Why are you all so mean. Wait and see the direction of the show, and how Adam fits in, and then you can judge. I don’t understand why people have to be mean for no reason.
