Bearing the tagline, “No One Lives Forever,” the image features a nondescript male vampire flashing his pearly, pointy whites while striking an unpleasant-looking pose.

What does it all mean?! Well, probably this for starters.

  • True Blood usually has some of the most interesting key art; this is visually repellant.

    • I agree their artwork is usually brilliant. This truly sucks. Are the artists and illustrators on strike or something?

  • Meh. Kill off whoever you want,HBO, but everyone knows that there are probably about 3 people who actually keep ratings high. Kill them off and kill the show.

    • I think it’s Eric, that’s who’s been rumored to get the axe. If he gets killed off, in gonna pretty much guarantee this or next season will be the last.

      • If Eric is killed off then WOW beyond stupid move for the series, it’s been neading down hil the past 2 seasons & if Eric is gone then say good bye to their audience. Everyone I know who watches this show watches because of Eric because he’s the only decent thing left on the sow with all its useless sideline stories.

  • HBO said its not representative of any character. Its just a composite character. Remember the season one poster doesn’t feature any character from the show.

  • Killing off Eric would be killing the show.
    Seriously stupid move.

  • They must be talking about a human, since vampires are already dead!

  • If they cut Eric from the show, I’m done. I’ll never watch again.

  • According to what I’ve read Eric (Alexander) is contracted for 7 years. That would leave him alive this year…And perhaps HBO will learn from the hullaballoo around Charlaine Harris sending Eric off without so much as a by your leave that they might be more prudent with their version of the viking vampire…
