What to Watch Wednesday: Modern Family Is On a Roll, Lt. Eames Assists SVU, Psych and More

Modern FamilyOn TV this Wednesday: The Voice narrows its field once more, Kathryn Erbe hangs with Benson & Co., Supernatural screens an educational film and Modern Family both rolls and bounces. 8 pm The Voice (NBC) | Now that the Playoff Round is done, America’s vote puts through the top two artists from each team. Then the coaches each save an additional team member, allowing them to move on to the next part of the competition.

8 pm Arrow (The CW) | With The Undertaking days away, Malcolm dons his black hood and concludes business with Dr. Markov and his team. (Watch a brutal sneak peek.) Meanwhile, Oliver and Moira entertain a number of surprise (and mostly unwelcome) visitors.

8 pm The Middle (ABC) | Frankie angles for a good Mother’s Day gift; Cassidy stuns Axl with some bad news during the prom.

9 pm Criminal Minds (CBS) | The BAU heads to Los Angeles on the trail of an UnSub who kidnaps nannies and their charges on the same day each year.

9 pm Law & Order: SVU (NBC) | Lt. Eames (Law & Order: Criminal Intent‘s Kathryn Erbe) returns to help when a string of shootings is linked to Fin’s past as a narcotics officer. Hip hop artist 2 Chainz also guest-stars. (Check out what EP Warren Leight told TVLine about the episode’s surprising origin.)

9 pm Modern Family (ABC) | The Dunphys hit the roller rink for a fundraising event run by Mitch’s ex-boyfriend Teddy (played by Larry Sullivan, CSI).

10 pm CSI (CBS) | The team investigates the death of a ghost hunter, digging up a sore spot from Greg’s past (get scoop). Ian Bohen (Teen Wolf) and Erica Dasher (Jane By Design) guest-star.

10 pm Chicago Fire (NBC) | Severide turns to an unlikely ally to resolve his dilemma; Mills and Dawson face personal challenges.

    so did aj and kristin make headway on their contracts??? you said it had to be a done deal by end of day on tuesday and its wednesday now. WHAT HAPPENED!!!!

      I know, I’m wondering about that, too. I really hope that if a decision has been made either way the show isn’t holding off on announcing it just to help drum up further suspense for the finale, ’cause that’s two weeks away and I really don’t want to wait two weeks to find out who is or isn’t for sure coming back.

      I know right!! They don’t even have to be DVR’d.. Arrow at 8pm.. Supernatural at 9pm.. and Psych at 10pm (or 7pm if you watch the 3 hour early HD channel).
