On TV this first Monday of May sweeps: Bones brings a baddie back to end the season, Warehouse 13 sweats it out, All My Children and One Life to Live lather up again and The Following says “Nevermore”… (until next season). 8 pm Bones (Fox) | Season finale: David Boreanaz direct’s tonight’s season-capper, in which Pelant returns to diabolically mess with the Jeffersonian team. Also in the hour: Sweets realizes the evidence in a string of FBI-related murdrers is a little too familiar, and Brennan starts reevaluating her relationship with Booth when it looks like he’s the criminal genius’ next target. 8 pm The Secret Life of the American Teenager (ABC Family) | Ben advises Amy to break up with Ricky, and Ethan gets a better grasp on algebra. Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years) guest-stars.
8 pm How I Met Your Mother (CBS) | The gang plans a legen… dary bachelor party for Barney. And how could it not be, with Karate Kid Ralph Macchio (guest-starring as himself) in the mix? Frances Conroy (American Horror Story) also returns as Barman’s mom, Loretta.
9 pm The Following (Fox) | Season finale: As Ryan desperately hunts for Joe, the charismatic cult leader takes Claire to a special location for, as the episode synopsis promises, “the ultimate showdown between good and evil.” Whoa. (Watch a sneak peek… and another!) (Yep, already renewed.)
9 pm Defiance (Syfy) | Irisa is forced to face a disturbing power; Defiance is attacked by hellbugs.
9 pm 2 Broke Girls (CBS) | Caroline catches the eye of a director shooting a scene in Han’s diner, but the role he offers her has strings attached. Tenacious D’s Kyle Gass guest-stars.
10 pm Warehouse 13 (Syfy) | Midseason premiere: We pick up right where the drama left off, with Artie having infected the entire world with the Black Orchid’s deadly sweating sickness. Pete, Myka, Claudia and Steve race to stop the pandemic before it stops them. James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) winningly guest-stars. (Get scoop.)
10 pm The Big C: hereafter (Showtime) | Season 4 premiere: In the first of this “limited” season’s four episodes, Cathy plans a birthday party for Adam.
10 pm Hawaii Five-0 (CBS) | Five-0 allows a talk-show host (played by The Talk‘s Aisha Tyler) and her crew to follow them for the day, but the investigation turns dangerous during a run-in with Wo Fat.
All My Children and One Life to Live (Hulu, Hulu Plus, iTunes) | Your ticket back to Pine Valley and Llanview is finally here, online (and via FX Canada for our friends up north). Many of your favorites have returned – including AMC‘s Debbi Morgan and David Canary and OLTL‘s Erika Slezak and Tuc Watkins – for the 30-minute installments, which will be made available Monday through Thursday at 5 am EST, with occasional Friday recap specials.
