Happy EndingsOn TV this Friday: Nikita is one man down, Hemlock Grove makes its spooky debut on Netflix, Mark-Paul Gosselaar is back for more Happy Endings and Fashion Star hits the town. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

PREVIEW | Jessie Gives Tony a Very Special Gift – Debby Ryan Performs Original Song

8 pm Nikita (The CW) | This episode’s a big one: A major character dies. (Get scoop!)

8 pm Fashion Star (NBC) | The designers must interpret what a “big night out” means and design an ensemble that fits their vision. (I’m assuming there won’t be an outfit for my go-to night on the town — fro-yo for dinner followed by falling asleep watching SVU repeats — but you never know.)

8 pm Happy Endings (ABC) | Back-to-back episodes: Penny rebounds from last week’s bad news by having an affair with the Car Czar (returning guest star Rob Corddry), and Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Franklin & Bash) reprises his role as Chase, the ex-roommate whose life Max ruined.

9 pm Vegas (CBS) | Katherine arrests Dixon after Violet accuses him of assaulting her, putting Sheriff Lamb in a tough spot. Jim O’Heir (Parks and Recreation) guest-stars as a bank manager. UPDATE: A CBS news special Boston Bombers will air in place of Vegas, the network has announced.

9 pm Grimm (NBC) | Nick fights a villain who wants to turn Portland into Pompeii, and Adalind meets a mysterious gypsy in Europe. (Watch a video sneak peek.)

9 pm Da Vinci’s Demons (Starz) | Leonardo’s war designs fail, causing a rift with the Medicis. (Renewed!)

9 pm Shark Tank (ABC) | A Colorado man pitches the “perfect” English scone. (The fact that he’s from Colorado makes me skeptical, but I pride myself on giving all pastries a chance.)

  • Nikita! This week’s episode looks so epic, we finally learn the truth about Amanda’s past AND the Division mutiny ends in a bloodbath.
That being said, I don’t think the shower scene is in tonight’s episode but in 3×20, according to the tweets.

  • I really want to watch Hemlock Grove but I’m not subscribing to Netflix streaming to do it :-( so for tonight it’s Vegas, Grimm and I’ll probably check out Rock Center although it’s highly likely the subject matter will change.

  • Does anyone know when/if things will be shown later due to the news coverage? The only thing I had scheduled to DVR was Grimm and Shark Tank but can’t seem to find anything online saying when things might actually be shown.
