Parks and Rec First Look: Who's the New Jerry?

Get More: Exclusive, First Look, Video

Spoiler Alert: Parks and Recreation‘s loveable punching bag Jerry Gergich is set to retire in one of this Thursday’s two new episodes (NBC, starting at 9/8c). So, which staffer will become the butt of all jokes in his absence? Tom, April, Andy and Donna ponder just that in the following exclusive first look.

As Ron so kindly points out to his parks department crew, one of the remaining employees will become the new Jerry via natural selection. (Though, of course, said doof will not be him.)

  • I’m really terrified that Jim O’Heir will be leaving the show completely, and sadly he can’t answers any of my questions on twitter!

  • If Jerry knew he was going to be retiring soon, why would he apply for a new job in Animal Control last week? On that note, how was Jerry not qualified because he didn’t have a 4 year degree, but April was nominated? April doesn’t have a 4 year degree does she?
