The main actress is SO good. I can’t believe she’s Canadian, she looks so British.

  2. Peachfuzz says:

Enough of these “stupid one actress playing multiple characters just so people can trash the other actors for not doing the same thing” shows!

  3. Peachfuzz says:

Oh and since people are obviously going to say it further down the line…

GIVE TATIANA MASLANY AN EMMY! She plays 3 different versions of her character!

  4. George P. Burdell says:

Too many shows start with a great premise and then promptly don’t go anywhere. Orphan Black seems to be going to a lot of places. With interesting drama every inch along the way. That actress goes from interesting to near hypnotizing. I’m already regretting it’s only on once a week.
If the quality holds up this the eventually DVD sales will be quite strong.

  5. Sam says:

I had no idea what this show was until I heard Chris Hardwick talk about it on The Nerdist last week. Checked it out after and was hooked! It’s so good!

This show makes me sad. The episodes seem to do a whole lot of nothing. Next week looks like it will be interesting though, with Sara playing cop for real. But it also makes me think that either this show has to tell a real good story with a short story arc, one or two seasons, or its going to just be a cooky twist on a life swap.

This is the flaw with American and Canadian TV I think, shows seem to have premises they use for the pilot to get on air, and then they are left unsure what to do. Because they are beholden to all the whims of ratings plots change on a dime to keep up with the ratings. This show would have been awesome on Netflix with their new instant release model. It plays on a night without much TV so I’ll hang in for an episode or two more and see if the show becomes real sci fi. If there isn’t cool tech or sci fi soon I’ll bail.

I have great hope for this show, but not much faith.
