  1. Esaul says:

I agree with Steve Franks. I enjoyed that moment the most.

  2. Jessica says:

I love all of those moments and more. I’ve rewatched the entire series in the past two months or so, and just fallen in love with it again. Every episode I see I’m just reminded of the greatness that is Psych.

  3. Andy says:

This cast is perfect. I’ve loved them since the beginning. I truly do love every episode, and all the moments mentioned are great ones. Henry giving Shawn the pocket knife at the end of last season was beautiful. Another great scene was in Gus Walks Into a Bank when you see Shawn fear for Gus’s life, and you are just reminded how much they care about eachother.

  4. Amber says:

You won’t find a better cast than this one on TV right now. And you can tell how the friendship between James and Dule is when James correctly guessed Dule’s favorite moment.

  5. Brandon says:

There are too many perfect serious moments sprinkled in with the hilarious ness that is Psych to pick just one moment!

  6. Kayla says:

The moments they mentioned are the gems that keep Psych full of heart. Yes, it’s super silly, but when you look back on the show as a whole there is development in characters and relationships.

Favorite scenes? When Lassiter puts the letter up to the divider in This Episode Sucks telling Marlowe he’s going to wait for her- I love that rare tenderness. Shout was so hysterical. The Scary Sherry screaming is definitely a favorite. When Shawn tells Juliet that he loves her and then calls her Abigail, and realizes that Juliet almost said it back. When Gus has to contort himself through the lasers. When Buzz McNab is adorable, which is always. Anything Woody says or does, especially, “Calm down peaches, come back to bed.” I especially love when Gus did the pitch perfect AK-47 mouth action over the intercom as Shawn is trying to shield himself with a giant Snapple cardboard cutout.

So basically everything in the show.

  7. A says:

I just started rewatching all the seasons and I truly love this show so much and I hope it continues beyond season 8. Here are some my favorite:

    – “Oh My God I Killed Him” – Shawn yelling and pretending to kill Gus
    – “I feel like I’ve been incarcerated in a blueberry” – Tim Curry
    – Gus’s “ballin’ and shot callin'” speech
    – Gus drugged and laughing while everyone fight around him
    – “We are dealing with a crazy person” – Gus angry at the kid who hates the old Star Wars
    – Shawn’s crazy person laugh in Shawn, Interrupted
    – Everytime they dance.
    – Shawn’s Charlie Brown dance
    – “Sookie,,,,is mine”
    – Every time Shawn and Gus scream
    – Skiing sequence when they were chasing after Despereaux
    – Ally Sheedy!!
    – Gus and the lemur
    – “Hello bear, hello polar bear! Want some fish sandwiches” – Gus
    – Shawn’s girly Juliet voice.
    – Shawn going boneless and Gus dragging him across the floor
    – Gus dancing like MJ and asking everyone to guess who he was
    – Gus talking in a Jamaican accent
    – “Cause you’re my big old papa monkey” – Shawn
There is honestly just too many. Love this show

  8. Kelly says:

I love this show. There are so many great moments. They have not a a bad season. I really like the cast and creators picks. The screaming in Scary Sherry is a favorite of mine. I love Shawn/Henry relationship. Gus and Shawn’s friendship is awesome. Lassie and Jules partnership even though they don’t have Shawn/Gus’s history I love when they show that friendship like Lassie confronting Jules and warning Shawn not to hurt her. Totally loved Lassie getting a girl and holding up the paper. Chief’s moment was Shawn, along with giving birth with lassie as coach were great. I do like that the show does allow the cops to be smart and solve things. This season in particular they have shown badass Jules and Lassie.

    • Andy says:

Jules was very badass in Lassie Jerky when she was taking out the attackers with the bow. That was a pretty awesome moment. I also loved the conversation Jules and Lassie had at the end of A Very Juliet Episode. That was a really touching scene for those two.

      • Alan says:

that moment was so incredibly badass the writers couldnt pass up the opportunity for even the other characters to be amazed at how badass she was

  9. Knighton says:

My kids and I have loved every moment of this show. There really are too many episodes/moments to list favorites, but my I do have three that top the list: the Tim Curry episode, the episode where Shawn takes a shot in the dark, and Shawn and Juliet’s second kiss with that awesome Elvis song playing in the background.

  10. Josh says:

I think the show gets stronger each season, so it would be difficult to pick one moment. But the end of Yin Presents is an image that stays with me.

  11. Wow says:

I Became A Psycho After Watching “Mr. Yin Presents“ (See What I Did There). I’m A Huge Alfred Hitchcock Fan! Plus I Loved How They Used Band Of Horses ‘I Go To The Barn Because I Like The’ In The Last Scenes! Everything About That Episode Is Great. Afterwards, I Immediately Began Watching S1! Congrats On100 Episodes, Hope We Get Many More!

  12. Brendan says:

They’re spot in with ‘way too many awesome moments to choose from,’ but if forced I think my favorites are the silly interludes in serious situations. One of the (many) things I love about the show is that it never takes itself too seriously, and can squeeze a laugh out of a serious scene, simply because that’s the tone of the show and the way it works. Like when Shawn was strapped to a chair with a gun shot wound in his shoulder and shouted “I like the sound of my own voice and I will not apologize for that!”, or when Shawn and Gus were sitting on top of an armed land mine and their focus couldn’t be shaken from jerk chicken nachos. For me those kind of moments are the essence of Psych,

  13. Babybop says:

One of my favorite moments for some reason was in the episode where Shawn was kidnapped and held hostage. When he was in the back of the truck and he saw Juliet, Gus, Lassiter and his dad all drive up to the truck he yelled, “Yeah! Go team!” I

  14. big cheddar says:

I started watching when ION started airing marathons and I immediately fell in love. I even stayed home some nights just to catch episodes that I might have missed the last time it aired. I LOVE all the moments mentioned as well as a few of my own:
-Kurt Fuller makes just about every scene better. He is the definition of a scene stealer
-the first time Shawn went “boneless” and Gus dragging him down the hall
-the scene in “Yang 3 in 2D” where Gus tells Shawn that he doesn’t blame Shawn and that he’s had the best time of his life working with Shawn
-All of the homage episodes, especially Dual Spires. “Hey mister, are you Frederick Douglass?” still cracks me up to this day
-any time I can find the pineapple

This show just keeps getting better and better

  15. Eliza says:

I agree with others that there are so many favorite moments over the years. I’m completely in love with this show and have been since day 1. Shawn & Gus are one of my favorite pairs ever :)

  16. Meghan says:

All of the Psych-outs at the end of the show!

    • tvfan says:

I agree! I remember the first episode with it’s psych out and we couldn’t stop laughing! Rewatching episodes looking for the pineapple and still laugh like it was the first time means this show is special, but my very favorite moment isn’t on the show – it’s the promo they did singing Private Eyes. I must have watched it 100 times and loved it each and every time!

  17. I LOVE Psych!!! I am so glad it is back. My favorite I have so many, but think the one that make me laugh is the Mummy episode, When Shawn and Gus walk up to the van and find the mummy in the driver seat. I love that they scream like litle girls!! I love those Guys!!!

  18. Alan says:

best moment: shawn is told gus is being held hostage in a bank, shawn stands there contemplating this for about half a second then tries to run directly for the bank and has to be held back; that sums up their friendship perfectly for me, shawn would risk his life to try to get gus out of a situation like that immediately.
also needs mentioning: gus as shawn’s “lawyer” trying to get him into a kids karate class, its not often that we get to see gus’s madness but when he gets the chance to pull it out dule hill goes big.
also basically anything kurt fuller does on the show but specifically woody hanging around with a body bag just waiting for henry to die from his gun shot wound even after henry is out of danger. that got so many laughs from me, even several days later when it would just suddenly come back to me.
honorable mention to some nicknames: holla backatcha, ovaltine jenkins, mc clap yo handz, control alt delete, shawn and shawn (no relation) and of course doctor tick *clicking noises* tock. hell everybody just go watch the nickname compilation on youtube they are all gold; and while you are there watch the “gus dont be a .. ” compilation as well, also gold.

    • Alan says:

damn i forgot to mention the time shawn shot the engine of a moving car from the hood of another moving car while he had a gunshot wound, that was so good even lassiter had to comment on it.
you know what there are just too many great moment s to list them all.

  19. Kate says:

Dule’s answer is amazing in and of itself

  20. lyn says:

The entire “Last Night Gus” episode.

  21. Susan says:

We have been fans since the show started. The cast, and writing, on this show is phenomenal! There are so many stand-out moments. One of the little ones, that I still get a kick out of: Gus and Shawn trying to make a quick get-away from a museum(and a mummy) with the Blueberry. They make what should be a 3 point turn-around, into an 11 point turn-around! Just funny little details like that make for pure entertainment~

  22. Susan says:

I like how they give a subtle joke to the TV show the Mentalist. Shawn would say something like, a guy pretending to be psychic who actually just notices details why would they make a TV show about that? They would comment about that they were doing it first. Don’t remember which episode it was, I’m sure it was in a few. Also some of the crimes solved by referencing an 80s movie or tv show, made me like them even more.

  23. Jim C says:

Wow. There are just too many to count….everytime Shawn introduces Gus using some wacky name to the 3 “Yin” episodes. But I would be remiss if I didnt mention one episode that I still laugh today when I see it. The superhero special with “Tapman and the Catch”. Its the hardest I ever laughed at a TV show.

  24. Allie says:

There is a moment in the third episode where Shawn is pretending to read Juliet’s palm. He holds her hand and her gaze just a bit too long. I think in that moment the connection between these two characters (as well as Roday and Maggie) could truly be felt by the audience. It’s a great moment. The close talking in Bounty Hunters still makes my fangirl self giggle. Shawn and Henry in the car at Shawn’s high school reunion will forever be one of my favorite father/son moments between them. Tim’s entire performance in Tuesday the 17th. And.. Well, whenever he gets to do anything raw and emotional. My favorite moments are when the fun and jokes slow down just briefly and we get to see something real and true between these characters that we’ve grown to love over the last seven years.

  25. I love this show. One of my favorite parts are when Shawn and Gus scream like little girls.

  26. Carrie says:

Oh, how I love this show. I agree with James Roday’s favorites. I love it when Shawn gives Gus those ridiculous names when introducing him to people. I loved the Spanish soap opera episode and the Black and Tan modeling episode. I also loved the scene in the high school reunion episode where Shawn gets on stage and talks about what a great friend Gus is. There are just too many terrific moments. Every episode cracks me up.

  27. bigdede says:

I agree with Steve Francis. I was so happy when Shawn started seeing Henry differently. My favorite moment is the whole American Duos episode. When Tim Curry’s character ask, “Who decorated this house, Kris Kristofferson”. Also them singing Shout and the audience screaming. When Lassie was called Mr. Bean. I also loved the Viagra Falls episode. When Gus was going to open that locker and Boone was like “You can crack locks and steal things, typical, your disappointing me son”. I love that episode. Also when they had to re investigate Henry’s bombing case and Henry gave Gus that name Methuselah Honeysuckle and when Shawn called him, MC Clap your hands, and Gus started clapping.

  28. Sfarringtonjr says:

A personal favorite I have is when uncle Burton comes to visit and Shawn has to be psychic for the cops, Gus for uncle Burton. Also, in the same episode where Shawn takes up a job at the newspaper writing horoscopes and he writes them specifically for his dad, Juliet, and Lassie. He made Lassie walk through doors backward, his dad give him back some miscellaneous items, and told Jules her true love would be wearing an apple jacks shirt. Priceless.

  29. Flo says:

As people have noted, way too many to pick one or two or…. but a favorite moment was in the Bollywood curse episode when Shawn and Gus are chowing down on the super spicy hot Indian food and Gus gasps, “I think I see dead people.” I just think about that and I’m howling. Also Lassie tap dancing with the kids (after the VERY fine footwork of Gus)

  30. cfs says:

i loved them (episodes) all an each cast member (unusual for me) is my fav…no way to have this show without all the same members, there is no way of replacing anyone…

  31. Fantastic beat ! I wish to apprentice while you amend your web site, how can i subscribe for a weblog site?
The account aided me a acceptable deal. I had been a little bit acquainted of this your broadcast provided bright transparent concept

  32. Olivia says:

haha Dule is so funny. Honestly the most I could give you is my top 3 episodes so here it goes… my first, American duos. This show was so funny, and the funniness of the show was spread evenly, but hit you with a laughing bomb at the end from Nigel st Nigel. my second, SEIZE. This is from season 8 and it was so funny to hear Sean come up with these last minute part of the acronyms, and they were funny. Since each acronym plotted part of the episode, those parts would be funny as well. My third… ALL EPISODES WITH PIERRE DESPARAUX. (ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACHTERS EVEEEERRRR)
