What to Watch Sunday: Great Wife Guests, HBO Has Its Phil, Revenge Looks Sharpie and More

Death of a ClientOn TV this Sunday: The Good Wife hosts special guests both familiar and Fringe, Revenge reverts to form, HBO cues up a Phil Spector biopic and Family Guy sequesters itself. 8 pm Live From Lincoln Center (PBS) | Great White Way gal Kristen Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies, GCB) sings her heart out in a concert that includes selections from 42nd Street, The Music Man, Sweeney Todd and Hello, Dolly!

8:30 pm Shake It Up (Disney Channel) | When Rocky saves Phil’s life, he happily offers her a job on Shake It Up Chicago again — but she declines, wanting to earn her way. (Don’t worry; CeCe is determined to make her accept.)

9 pm Phil Spector (HBO) | HBO_PhilSpectorAcademy Award winners Al Pacino and Helen Mirren star in this David Mamet-penned TV-movie about the client/attorney relationship between the titular legendary music producer and defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden, who represented him during his first trial for murder.

9 pm Revenge (ABC) | The Red Sharpie is back, Hamptons. You’ve been warned. (Know who else is back? Roger Bart as Mason Treadwell!)

9 pm The Good Wife (CBS) | John Noble (Fringe) guest-stars as an erratic (and murdered) client of Alicia’s (get a sneak peek), while Matthew Perry (Go On) and Stockard Channing (The West Wing) return as Mike Kresteva and Alicia’s mama, respectively.

9 pm The Walking Dead (AMC) | Rick and the group decide whether a huge sacrifice is worth making peace with the Governor.

9 pm Army Wives (Lifetime) | The wives turn to Denise for answers and support when news of an explosion in Afghanistan rocks Fort Marshall.

9 pm Family Guy (Fox) | A bloody murder at the mayor’s mansion means Mayor West is the prime suspect – and a jury of Quahog citizens will decide his fate. Gulp. Padma Lakshmi (Top Chef) guest-voices a cameo.

10 pm Vikings (History) | No rest for the wicked: The Vikings choose the Sabbath to unleash violence and terror on the town of Hexam. Meanwhile, Ragnar and Lagertha discover that there are consequences for every action. (Translation: Earl Haraldson is always watching.)

10 pm House of Lies (Showtime) | Marty covertly makes strides with his future in mind, while one of his minions is asked: “I was thinking that it’s time for you to run your own pod. Are you ready to step up?”

  • So excited for Revenge. Now, this whole time I’ve thought Emily’s father isn’t really dead. So with that, I believe HE might be The Falcon. It would be interesting if he’s been alive this whole time and trying to thwart all of Emily’s plans. But, if that was true, they wouldnt reveal it so soon…sigh.
