On TV this Sunday: The Good Wife hosts special guests both familiar and Fringe, Revenge reverts to form, HBO cues up a Phil Spector biopic and Family Guy sequesters itself. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within) — and with March Madness unfolding on CBS, TNT and TBS — here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.
8 pm Live From Lincoln Center (PBS) | Great White Way gal Kristen Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies, GCB) sings her heart out in a concert that includes selections from 42nd Street, The Music Man, Sweeney Todd and Hello, Dolly!
8:30 pm Shake It Up (Disney Channel) | When Rocky saves Phil’s life, he happily offers her a job on Shake It Up Chicago again — but she declines, wanting to earn her way. (Don’t worry; CeCe is determined to make her accept.)
9 pm Phil Spector (HBO) | Academy Award winners Al Pacino and Helen Mirren star in this David Mamet-penned TV-movie about the client/attorney relationship between the titular legendary music producer and defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden, who represented him during his first trial for murder.
9 pm Revenge (ABC) | The Red Sharpie is back, Hamptons. You’ve been warned. (Know who else is back? Roger Bart as Mason Treadwell!)
9 pm The Good Wife (CBS) | John Noble (Fringe) guest-stars as an erratic (and murdered) client of Alicia’s (get a sneak peek), while Matthew Perry (Go On) and Stockard Channing (The West Wing) return as Mike Kresteva and Alicia’s mama, respectively.
9 pm The Walking Dead (AMC) | Rick and the group decide whether a huge sacrifice is worth making peace with the Governor.
9 pm Army Wives (Lifetime) | The wives turn to Denise for answers and support when news of an explosion in Afghanistan rocks Fort Marshall.
9 pm Family Guy (Fox) | A bloody murder at the mayor’s mansion means Mayor West is the prime suspect – and a jury of Quahog citizens will decide his fate. Gulp. Padma Lakshmi (Top Chef) guest-voices a cameo.
10 pm Vikings (History) | No rest for the wicked: The Vikings choose the Sabbath to unleash violence and terror on the town of Hexam. Meanwhile, Ragnar and Lagertha discover that there are consequences for every action. (Translation: Earl Haraldson is always watching.)
10 pm House of Lies (Showtime) | Marty covertly makes strides with his future in mind, while one of his minions is asked: “I was thinking that it’s time for you to run your own pod. Are you ready to step up?”
