Vince Vaughn to Host Saturday Night Live

Vince Vaughn, the original Swinger himself, will host the April 13 Saturday Night Live, NBC announced Tuesday.

Singer Miguel will be the musical guest that evening.

The episode will mark Vaughn’s second hosting stint; the first came in 1998.

After getting his big break in Swingers, Vaughn’s prolific career has included comedies like Wedding Crashers, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Old School and Couples Retreat.

NBC also confirmed that Mike & Molly star Melissa McCarthy will host the April 6 outing with musical guest Phoenix.

  • What is he promoting? His reality show with Glenn Beck? That is seriously the only thing I have heard his name linked to lately.

    • Vince Vaughn has a movie, that he wrote, coming out June 7th.. The Internship. It is aboiut two guys who lose their jobs and get an internship at Google. It stars Vaungh and Owen Wilson.

  • How can you complain about Vince Vaughn? Even if he isn’t the funniest, at least he is a comedian. SNL’s moves away from comedy actors is why this season and previous ones have tanked.

  • Why not booked Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to host SNL again? He hasn’t host the show since March 2009. Or they better bring Christopher Walken back to SNL which he hasn’t been hosting since April 2008.
