Greg Grunberg ABC Pilot DoubtNo question about it: Greg Grunberg is joining ABC’s pilot Doubt, TVLine has learned.

The legal drama from House creator David Shore centers around Vincent, a former cop-turned-charmingly low-rent lawyer who uses his street smarts and cunning to work the system for his clients while battling his own demons and wooing his ex-wife.

Grunberg — whose credits include Heroes, AliasFelicity, and, more recently, Lifetime’s The Client List — will play Vince’s developmentally disabled by high-functioning older brother Mark. He works at Vince’s office as the receptionist and believes that his brother can save the world.

Sons of Anarchy‘s Rockmond Dunbar co-stars as Vincent’s former partner on the force and current confidante.

    • Yup, that would be him.
House season 2 … definitely good times, but poor House’s family jewels :(

  • I hated him on Heroes and that forever has spoiled him as an actor for me. It doesn’t matter much though cause this show sounds absolutely terrible. The only thing that would make it semi watchable if David E Kelly was behind it, cause then it would have his signature snark/liberal writing to it that can be super enjoyable. Alas, it’s not a David E Kelly show and will probably be a huge snoozer.

    • Are you crazy? He’s one of the best actors on TV. You literally have the worst taste in television history. I hope you get anal warts.

      • I love Greg Grunberg too, but no need to be a bitch and attack somebody for having a different opinion than you.

      • Um lol…Can’t tell if serious…His character was so bad in Heroes (Although that wasn’t really his fault). He was so blah in Love Bites. Where are you getting that he’s one of the best actors on TV? What has he even been in that he was like epic in? I’m so confused…

      • I’m with Renee on this one, Barbara. Wishing anal warts on someone is not nice. And I remember enjoying Grunberg on Felicity many years ago but he doesn’t seem to have been given opportunities to maximize his potential. Bryan Cranston and Jon Hamm he ain’t. And THEY are some of the best actors on television today.

  • Sounds like they haven’t cast Vincent yet? How about HUGH LAURIE :)

  • Isn’t it odd to cast support roles before casting the lead? But as far as Heroes goes his role was was well written at least in the first season but in later seasons it was pretty blah. Hell the writing was blah for the whole series after the first season.

I hope the show gets picked up to series. It will be interesting to see him play a mentally handicapped person. Which is a role he’s never played before. He must have impressed them in the audition otherwise he wouldn’t have been cast.
