Exclusive: SNL Grad Tim Meadows Joins Fox's Family Comedy Pilot The Gabriels

Tim Meadows The Gabriels Saturday Night Live vet Tim Meadows has been cast in Fox’s comedy pilot The Gabriels, TVLine has learned exclusively.

The single-camera comedy, from Justin Hurwitz (The League) and Andre Gurland, follows an introverted, neurotic Wisconsin family that lives in a community of over-sharers.

Meadows will play Tom, a straight-laced man with a “churchy smile” who is the Principal of the local middle school.

Rob Riggle was previously tapped to play the family’s patriarch.
