Good Wife Hot Shots: Meet the New Kalinda! Plus, Audra McDonald and Wallace Shawn Visit

We’re betting The Good Wife‘s Kalinda is not going to be happy about this: A second investigator (played by Teeth‘s Jess Weixler) joins Lockhart Gardner in the March 10 episode (CBS, 9/8c), and we’ve got your first look at the competition.

“There’s a new kid on the block,” Archie Panjabi tells TVLine, adding that Weixler’s Robyn is “a new trainee who works with [Kalinda]”  – which means our favorite P.I. has to teach the newbie!

Meanwhile, Alicia goes up in court against her law school classmate (Private Practice‘s Audra McDonald) and has to work alongside The Princess Bride‘s Wallace Shawn as — inconceivable! — drug dealer Lemond Bishop’s other lawyer.

  • Wait, they’re writing a storyline that features Kalinda? She’s finally out of the doghouse? Thank goodness!

  • Didn’t we already go through this plot with Kalinda when Blake got hired?

    • Exactly my thoughts. But reading the article, I think it’s more like an Alicia-Caitlin situation.

  • Yay more Kalinda, boo to another investigator. There can be only one!
Though wonder if this recent hire is the new lady in Kalinda’s life.

  • No with the Blake and Kalinda thing it was he wanted to be the only one there. We don’t actually know whats happening here. Kalinda does get stretched pretty thin. With more money they can hire someone else as good so they all get the investigation that is needed. This also might just be a guest stint so it won’t be permanent.

    • I agree! Bring back Lana!

Kalinda and Lana have the complete package.

First, they look gorgeous together. They banter, they flirt, they get mad at one another, they are sexy, and Kalinda can be vulnerable around Lana without losing her edge (The Penalty Box).

Being a FBI agent, Lana gets into conflicts with Kalinda because of work (Bishop). There are loads of drama with these two.

Maybe Lana can come back and investigate Peter Florrick, then she can find out about Kalinda’s name change, and her past.
