This Sunday’s Bob’s Burgers (Fox, 8:30/7:30c) features another of the animated comedy’s musical moments — and we’ve got your exclusive first look at the song-and-dance extravaganza.

Feeling unappreciated at the restaurant, Linda ventures out into the world and lands a job at a grocery store. As the following musical moment suggests, she quickly finds that she loves her new line of work. Bob, on the other hand, is none too happy about the change.

First ever musical number? I’m a fan of Bob’s burgers, but didn’t they turn a whole episode into a mini-musical when Linda did the whole musical murder mystery dinners?

    • ScrubsGuy says:

They actually have lots of little musical interludes. The mystery dinner was a show within the show, but this looks like just a straight musical, so you could call it a “first”. The tones sound really off, but that actually makes it quite charming in the Bob’s Burgers way.

  2. Ambee says:

I’m all for more singing – just confused by the “first” in this article.

Almost every show starts with Linda singing. Love it.

  4. Anne says:

Can’t wait for this episode! Linda reminds me of myself. “….look at me…sittin’ on this thing…is it on?” This show makes me laugh every week! :-)

  6. No where does it say that it’s the first musical. It clearly states that it’s the first showing of this particular musical scene from the show. Learn how to read from the context of the entire article.
