Following in Lindsay Lohan’s footsteps, Helena Bonham Carter has been tapped to portray Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming BBC telepic. Per Deadline, the forthcoming Burton & Taylor centers on the volatile couple’s ill-fated appearance in a revival of the Noel Coward play Private Lives. Dominic West co-stars as Richard Burton.

HBO’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus-fronted Veep is slated to launch its second season on April 14 at 10/9c.

BBC has opted not to order a third installment of its acclaimed miniseries The Hour.

      It was very interesting but 1950’s news is a little dry… I would like to see the two leads in something again.. At least Freddy will have time for his next Bond movie!!!

    Well…. it’s not like HBC and Dominic West will have to try very hard to top “Liz & Dick”… Although I doubt we’ll be able to turn their version into a ruinous drinking game either. Oh, TV, you give and you take…

    I can already feel that the Big C finale is going to wreck me. This looks like a marked improvement from that crazy mess known as season 3.

      Yes. Season 3 was horrible, but this makes me hopeful that it will end well.

      My mother was diagnosed with cancer in September of last year. I started watching the show before the diagnosis. This trailer for The Big C: Hereafter brought tears to my eyes. I’m not even sure if I can watch Season 4… /coolstorybro
