  11. Sara says:

Oh I’ll be recovering from Scandal….nothing tonight

  12. Nikita for me. I hope airing against the first hour of Touch won’t hurt it. Funny how the show was moved back to 8pm specifically to avoid the competition with other genre shows, and first we get a two-hour Fringe finale clashing with Nikita, now a two-hour Touch season premiere… we just can’t catch a break.

    • Shaun says:

I thought it was partly to avoid a cruddy lead in?

      • That’s true as well, but in the beginning of the season, Nikita airing at 9pm pitted it against both Fringe and Grimm, which are genre shows that appeal to a similar audience. As such, the ratings dropped to hideous lows (0.3’s, even 0.2 once).
I do think having America’s Next Top Model as a lead-in made matters even worse, because its audience is totally different from Nikita’s and unlikely to watch it, but going toe-to-toe against genre shows on the bigger networks was always going to end badly. On 8pm, there are mostly reality shows or comedies.
