On TV this Wednesday: The Americans arrive from Russia with love, Supernatural goes on a relative-ly dangerous hunt, CBS tackles the best Super Bowl ads and Chicago Fire asks: Does father know best? As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm Whitney (NBC) | Alex is forced to defend Whitney’s honor (tough gig!) when she ignores his advice and meets up with a terrible ex-boyfriend looking to make amends.
8:30 pm The Neighbors (ABC) | Issues of class and race come up when the Weavers and the Bird-Kersees both try their hardest to become members of an exclusive country club.
9 pm Law & Order: SVU (NBC) | Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Victoria Rowell (The Young & the Restless) and Fred Norris (The Howard Stern Show) all guest-star as the SVU detectives go undercover to arrest a man who brutally attacks other men.

9:30 pm Suburgatory (ABC) | Yoni (That ’70s Show‘s Wilmer Valderrama) returns to help a depressed Yakult, and everyone’s happy except George – who thinks the Latin lover really just wants Dallas back.
10 pm The Americans (FX) | Series premiere, 90 minutes: Keri Russell (Felicity) and Matthew Rhys (Brothers & Sisters) star in this period drama as KGB spies posing as an American couple in circa-1980s suburban Washington, D.C. As their feelings for each other grow more genuine by the day, the arranged marriage is constantly tested by the escalation of the Cold War – and things don’t get any easier when an FBI agent (Noah Emmerich, White Collar) moves next door. (Read why you’ll be rooting for the KGB.)
10 pm Chicago Fire (NBC) | Who knew Severide and White Collar‘s Neal shared a dad? Treat Williams guest-stars as Kelly’s pop, who’s around as his son decides on his future. Elsewhere, Dawson and Shay find themselves in trouble during a call to a tenement apartment. (Get a sneak peek.)
10 pm Necessary Roughness (USA Network) | Dr. Dani treats two famous rockers (one of which is played by Smash‘s Will Chase – see photos!), and TK tries to get his old job back.
