King of the Nerds First Look: 'Cos You Need to See 'Booger' Play a Geisha

Cosplay is the game of the game this week on the new TBS competition series King of the Nerds (Thursdays, 10/9c) — and TVLine has a first look at hosts Curtis Armstrong and Robert Carradine properly setting the mood.

As the Revenge of the Nerds costars introduce the remaining competitors to their latest challenge — involving the art of dressing in costume and then all-out playing a character — the big screen’s erstwhile “Booger” makes like a geisha, while his cohort slices and dices like a samurai. Adam Busch, Yaya Han and George Takei serve as this “heroes-versus-villains” challenge’s judges.

And to think I graduated High School with Curtis. Who knew?

  2. The Squatch says:

How have I not heard of this show sooner and why am I not watching it? heh Though, the girl with the pink hair looks more like some anime nerd’s dream girl than an actual nerd herself.

  3. Eli says:

Great episode, just really wish Alana was the one to leave, so unlikeable :(

  4. Lee says:

Who was the female judge in this episode?

  5. Susan says:

We all hate Alana. She is just so unlikeable, but maybe it is a bad edit. Funny, one website ranked nerds with 1) Henrick being No. #1 and John No. #2 which has been their order of elimination. Alana was not rated a nerd but a dork (which seems to be another category which my geek husband explained the differences). We both failed the trivia quiz which I guess makes us geeks instead of nerds.
