8 pm Whitney (NBC) | After Alex admits faking it in bed, Whitney decides they both have to ‘fess up about past lies; a new bartender (recent cast addition Tone Bell) draws Lily and Roxanne’s attention.

9 pm Law & Order: SVU (NBC) | A prostitute (Medium‘s Patricia Arquette) from one of Benson’s old cases becomes crucial to the FBI’s hunt for a killer, so the SVU teams up with the lead federal agent (Jason Gedrick, Dexter) to save the woman’s life. TV vet Anne Meara also guest-stars.

9 pm Criminal Minds (CBS) | Matthew Gray Gubler directs an episode that finds the BAU investigating a ritualistic killer while Reid freaks out about possibly meeting his mystery woman.

9:30 pm Suburgatory (ABC) | George’s Christmas present to Tessa — a trip to New York, to hang with her mom (returning guest star Malin Ackerman) — might be a gift she’ll wanna return. And yeah, this is the episode where Ryan finds out he’s adopted. Saturday Night Live alum Tim Meadows also guest-stars.

PREVIEW | Nashville Exclusive Sneak Peek: Teddy Confesses – But Does He Tell Rayna Everything?

    • I totally agree the Abi- Maria Show. They can’t make this show look more set up. What a disappointment. I was looking so forward to her going home. I predicted at the beginning the producers would set it up for her to win immunity. Such a good show to see go to waste. It’s not even worth watching now that the setups are so obvious.

      • Let’s see what happens tonight, Sara. Whatever happened last week, Abi is the biggest star of this season of Survivor. Can’t wait to see how her fake HII story develops.

  • So tonight is our Ian McShane night on AHS? :) That news makes an infinitely cruddy day much better and happier. I hope they wrote him some good monologues. He can totally rock a monologue.

  • Just watched Patricia Arquette’s turn on SVU. She was absolutely awesome (no surprise there) in a character 180 degrees from her portrayal of Allison Dubois on Medium. She definitely did Emmy-worthy work!
