TVLine Items: WWE Crashes The Soup, La Lucci Visits Colbert, Web Therapy Renewed and More!

The The Soup WWE SpecialWWE Superstars are invading The Soup.

E!’s weekly pop culture-skewering clip show has teamed with the WWE on a wrestling-themed special titled The Soup Salutes WWE: Piledriving Clips in Your Face.

The half-hour event, to air Wednesday at 10:30/9:30c following an all-new episode of The Soup, will feature moments from WWE events past, as well as in-studio appearances by fan faves The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Brodus Clay, Eve and Hornswoggle. Commentators Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler will also be on-hand to emcee.

USA Network will rebroadcast the special on Monday, Nov. 26, immediately following Monday Night Raw.

• Showtime has renewed the Lisa Kudrow-created comedy Web Therapy for a 10-episode third season, to bow in 2013. Kudrow’s former Friends co-star Matt LeBlanc is slated to guest-star, as well as Meg Ryan and Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

• Reelz is developing a sequel to its 2011 miniseries The Kennedys, to be adapted from J. Randy Taraborelli’s book After Camelot: A Personal History of the Kennedy Family 1968 to the Present.

    yeaaah Web Therapy! I’m so glad to have Lisa Kudrow back on TV. she is such a underrated comedic actress… one of the better ones imo.

    Still a shame that ‘The Comeback’ didn’t got any more seasons… in many many many way better then Web Therapy… but anyways I’m happy to have Lisa back.

    It was so awesome to have Lucci show up on Colbert last night! A person my mom likes from a show she loved (“All My Children”) meeting up with a person I like on a show I love? Perfect combination :D. And it was hilarious.
    Looking forward to that “Soup” special, too. That should be interesting.
