Adult Swim Picks Up Animated Comedy Series From Community Creator Dan Harmon

Rick and MortyAdult Swim has picked up Community mastermind Dan Harmon‘s new animated series Rick and Morty, TVLine has confirmed.

The project, penned by Harmon and Justin Roiland, revolves around a genius inventor and his not-too-bright grandson.

The cabler has ordered 10 half-hour episodes to debut in late 2013.

As TVLine previously reported, Harmon — who was ousted as Community showrunner over the summer — is also developing comedy projects at CBS and Fox.
