Hit & Miss CancelledChloe Sevigny has landed another to-die-for role, signing on to headline the A&E drama pilot Those Who Kill.

The Big Love actress — whose DirecTV murder-for-hire series Hit & Miss will not be returning for a second season — will play Catherine, a detective who possesses a deep understanding of the serial killers she hunts.

X-Files vet Glen Morgan penned the script for the pilot, which is based on the Danish series Den Som Dræber. Morgan will serve as an exec producer alongside Imagine TV’s Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo. The pilot shoots this fall in Pittsburgh under the direction of Joe Carnahan (The Grey).

Sevigny is currently co-starring as a psycho nymph in FX’s American Horror Story: Asylum.

  • Is she singing on this show or merely signing on?

    RIP Hit & Miss

  • “the one who kills” would be a more accurate translation of the title.. I find it strange that they have to make an english version in the first place. Just put some subs on it.

  • Well damn. I am seriously thinking of just recording new series and waiting to see if they are renewed before I watch. That way cliff hangers won’t hang me up.

  • Those Danish TV series are a big sensation in the UK. Not all of them are crime dramas, one of them is about politics.

  • What a shame Hit & Miss was canceled. It was good, twisted fun.

    • I am absolutely gutted that Hit & Miss has been cancelled, (having only recently bought and watched it on DVD). It is one of the best dramas I’ve seen in ages – original, intelligent, funny, poignant and with a fantastic cast. We have all these ‘samey’ American programmes, yet this original British programme has been canned! I give up!!!!
