The renewal follows new season orders for many of the network’s other dramas, including White CollarCovert Affairs and Royal Pains.

There’s still no word on the fates of some of the network’s other primetime fare, including Necessary Roughness, Common Law, Political Animals and Fairly Legal.

    • I feel cheated with only six episodes this season. Everything started off great and then it stopped.
      Don’t do that to us.

    • Season one’s fantastic. My only problem with season two is how often they try to sneak in swears. But oh boy everything with Daniel made me hang on the edge of my seat.

  • I don’t understand why this show isn’t moved over to the network and given a full 22 episode run. It is far and above better than 75% of the crap on network. Isn’t USA owned by one of the big three? Having seen most of the falls new line-up, they could certainly drop a bunch of the new crap and put some quality back into the network. However, the show would have to clean up it’s language a little and that is one of the things I like about it. Real situations with real language. Not gratuitous but a well placed sh*t and Bulls*it and assh*le does bring out the reality of certain situations they depict.

    • Because network standards would take the bite out of the dialog. There’s a bit of spicy language on Suits. Delighted with the renewal.

  • So only Burn Notice and their bubble shows left – as long as Political Animals is renewed i don’t care.

And before others start, yes the ratings are not great but it is the critical acclaim that will get it a renewal. Good chance at a few miniseries nominations next year.

    • I thought Burn Notice was already renewed? They renewed it a year ago for seasons 5 & 6 right? Wait now I can’t remember what season it’s in…

      • it’s in season 6 now. So no it hasn’t been renewed for season 7 or beyond yet.

  • That’s great news! This season has been so much better than the first one. Now, they just have to renew Fairly Legal and Common Law and I’ll be happy. Although with the ratings they got (even though they were broadcasted on Friday), I’m afraid at least one of them will be canceled.

Comment by DCC – October 12, 2012 02:23 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • You should be afraid that both of them get cancelled.
