TNT on Tuesday announced return dates for several of its series, as well as set premieres for a pair of new shows.

Of the familiar fare, Dallas‘ sophomore season will startup on Jan. 28, while Southland‘s Season 5 will bow the next month on Feb. 13.

Both Leverage and Rizzoli & Isles — currently in their midseason breaks — will be back with a run of episodes beginning Nov. 27.

The new year will also see the arrival of two new original series: Monday Mornings, a David E. Kelley medical drama starring Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible), Alfred Molina (Law & Order: L.A.) and Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) that premieres Feb. 4, and a Donnie Wahlberg-produced unscripted police series — tentatively titled Boston’s Finest — that starts up Feb. 27.

The cable net also will present its annual Christmas in Washington special on Dec. 21 and, with TBS, will simulcast the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 27.

  • Looking forward to the return of Dallas! The original cast combined with the new cast is compelling to watch. Season 1 was great and I’m really rooting for Christopher and Elena to be together (loved them in the S1 finale) <3

  • This is not season 2 of Dallas! It’s season 14! People
Just get confused because there was a longer-than-usual hiatus between season 12 and season 13!

    • The original Dallas ran for 14 seasons from 1978-1991 with the first season only 5 episodes (which is only 5 less than the first or 15th season of the new show).

  • Um….I swear, every other show that comes out is either a medical ‘drama’ or a cop show. Enough!

  • I think I read that this is the last season for Southland. I hope not, because I really like that show. Very realistic.
